Wouldn't rule out Andrea Leadsom. I think she was fantastic throughout the campaign.
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

I think you're mostly correct here (candidate-wise). I think having May lead it would be a major olive branch given she was an (albeit muted) remainer. I don't know what her take on what position we adopt (indeed Boris is heavily leaning towards an EEA / "Flexit" option). I'm very sure she was about as enthused with the Remain position as Corbyn was. May to lead, with cabinet positions for Boris, Gove, IDS, Fox and (TBH, I think she deserves it) Gisela Stuart. Gisela Stuart, a Labour MP? Andrea Leadsom is Tory and might be offered a cabinet position, if she wants it. She has experience n the treasury and cabinet and has actually had a job in the real world as a Director for Barclays and other city institutions so she's experienced economics and not just read about it (Ed Balls) or ignored it (Gordon Brown), or been lucky and scarpered before a recession (Blair).

Dave's ruling no one out... even Corbyn if he gets rejected by the Labour Party! LOL

Theresa May looks favourite. If I were here I would on taking up the job immediately appoint Johnson and Gove to conduct negotiations and say "This is your s*** you sort it out. You can take the blame for whatever deal is made".

Runners I've heard mentioned are... Boris For me the best candidate of those would be Fox, but I guess it will come down eventually to Boris v May... and if so would prefer Boris. May is insipid and weak willed in my opinion. WTF is Hunt doing on that list? FFS.... he would be a perfect foil for Labour & Corbyn in a "Your leader is more sh1t than our leader" contest! With you there Hoof, think fox would make a great leader if I remember rightly he was a good defence minister..or possibly shadow, but fought his corner vwell.
