Funnily enough Boris could have copied his article from the Guardian of several years ago, when Obama first ran for president. Mind you, the funniest thing of all is your that your comments about supposed racism are themselves bigoted. Edited by NickinOX (25 Apr 2016 8.58pm)

He is not a racist perhaps a nationalist.

Opening up the UK economy to trade with the USA and others is paramount to economic growth post-Brexit as you know. To make Brexit worth it in essence. But how long would these deals take to arrange? Years and years. And once this long task was achieved it would also mean exposing UK firms and their workers to whole new levels of competition from low-cost countries. Your tone perhaps reflects your own 'out' doubts? You don't need to win every piddling argument. Dont we already have this from Eastern Europe. I heard today the Bulgarian hourly wage3 is approx 90p per hour!

Agreed Willo. Would the USA have freedom of movement from the Americas?...like f*** they would. Would they be governed by bureaucrats in Buenos Aires or Lima or any other American Capital...like f***. Practice what you preach or butt out.

This link explains the supposed background re Obama and Kenya/Brits in Kenya.Seems he grew up thinking we had brutally whipped his grandfather after he had been arrested.Appears in fact his grandfather may have made it up (though many others arrested at that time definitely were treated inappropriately). I can't stand Boris and am against Brexit but,to be fair, his comments weren't racist IMO,just silly as per normal Boris.Obama wants the UK in the EU because it's v much in the US' interests and he owes Cameron one to make up after criticising Cameron publicly re his post Gaddafi actions (or lack of) re Libya in an interview published last month, nothing to do with Kenya... Boris' comments seem to show how rattled brexit politicians like him were by Obama's intervention and scared of the likely effect on their cause,so stooping to silly rather desperate levels in response..
