Dave sank to a new low when he mentioned Corbyn's suit today in PMQ.
Pathetic. Akin to what one would expect on a football forum.

What's notable to me is that these same sentiments are driving what we're seeing over here as the two parties work at electing their candidates for the Presidency. Liberals and progressives see Clinton as another centrist corporate lackey (like her husband) and don't trust her to retain the progressive voice she's using now if she ever gets the Oval. She'll get the nomination anyway as the party establishment (and, more importantly, its fat-walleted donors) wants her and they have a big thumb on the scale (Google "super delegates"). Sanders' strong showing in both fund-raising and ballot results is ample evidence that those on the left have had it with the party.

The Republican establishment (and it's even fatter-walleted donors) don't have the super-delegate mechanism to control their process, and the result is what we are seeing. The ultimate outsider - Trump - just trounced all opposition in the last two contests and may already have an insurmountable delegate lead. He's rolling chaos and an embarrassment to the male gender and, frankly, human beings everywhere. But he's winning because he's taken the anger of those on the fringe of the right wing - who've been used and abused by Republicans ever since Reagan - and turned it against the party and into votes.

Basically, everyone's pissed off with the clowns that the parties are trying to push on us, and we're going the other way. In the case of the Republicans, they have no way to stop it and they will almost certainly now nominate a guy who will destroy the party before going on to destroy the country and possibly the world should he win the general election.

Trump winning has to be a joke, though, right? Wrong. He wins when the Democrats offer up Clinton and there aren't enough liberals and progressives willing to eat that turd burger, letting Trump win in a low turn out election.

Ray, don't you think the only reason for Trump's being where he his is the absolute paucity of other decent Republican candidates - it's difficult to believe this lot are representative of America's finest.

Romney...McCain-Palin...Bush Jr...

Conservatives have rallied around a sub-par standard-bearer before. What's different now is that the racism of the far right is being collected and channeled by Trump, whereas the last two go-arounds it was directed at Obama on behalf of any Republican candidate.

Without such a lightning rod of an opponent (Hillary and Bernie are about as white as you can get), the right's racism was just floating around without purpose. Trump took it, stoked it and owned it. That's why his supporters talk about loving a candidate who "says it like it is", meaning Mexican = rapist and Muslim = terrorist. Trump went there fast and early, grabbed all that momentum and has stolen a goose-stepping march on his opponents.

I thought it was a Labour backbencher who heckled Dave about his mother signing a petition opposing cuts to children’s centres. Cameron's response was “Ask my mother? I think I know what my mother would say. I think she’d look across the dispatch box and she’d say: put on a proper suit, do up your tie and sing the national anthem.”

Very prime ministerial...

Shhh, this is not news. Not singing the national anthem is news, Tony Blackburn is news, Man City winning is news.

Who cares about stupid things like work not paying and families being unable to feed, house and warm themselves despite working?

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Looking at the link posted by nick the two children look well dressed and well fed and the house looks like it is in the process of being decorated note the ladders and decorating board ???? Does not look like people on the poverty line in my opinion!!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.
