Anything with ginger (apart from that nice lady who used to be Dr Who's assistant,) is horrid. I am quite patial to a garibaldi (but they seem to have been relegated to the lower shelves in favour of those hideous slightly flaccid over priced cookies,) Also fond of a fig roll To widen this out very partial to a cheese scone or Eccles cake as a little treat!

Cant stand custard creams jaffa cakes or jammy dodgers What ever happened to Jaffa cakes, ten years ago I loved them, now they're meh. Plain Digestives, great with butter, but on their own its a sad showing, and says a lot about the character of the person who busts open a pack of those for guests. Seriously, it might have been all the rage fin-de-siècle, but we have all manner of joyful biscuit. At least get the whole meal variant.

Twice in one day... Terrible. I couldn't help myself with this one though, being a Reading boy, we take our 3 B's seriously (Beer, Biscuits and Bulbs). Of course the Courage Brewery has gone as have Huntley and Parmer, and I have no idea about bulbs).

very interesting point made earlier how Rich Tea fingers are nicer than the more familiar circular template - funny how shapes change the taste experience, cup or mug of tea, fingered or chunky kitkat, spagehetti or pasta shells etc - I think having deliberated thus that it is wise to be wary of squared or rectangular biscuits, would a circular custard cream be less foul? Interesting. Would a rounded bourbon make an improvement? possibly. Never seen a square or oblong ginger nut either.
