I think the EU should not wait for the vote, just kick erm out, complete waste of time and space.

While their at it as they don't want to be part of the Europe, boot them out of UEFA also.

Yeah maybe then the Netherlands can pick up the slack of being a major net contributor instead of being a tiny one.

The main money comes from Germany, France and us. Only a moron does nothing to stop losing a major client.

Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out why that is, being as Germany has highest population count at +81m inhabitants, France is next and has +67m, UK is 3rd and has 65m, and each Countries contribution is per head count.

Holland pays it's rightful share per head count of -17m.

A swayable stay in. A lot of the EU concerns me, particually its potential force nations to serve corporate desires over social needs.

If the UK were able to remain part of the European Court, then I would be wavering on the side of out. Too often in recent years, the EU has promoted corporate interests ahead of nations social interests (almost wrote National Socialist issues) there.

Most countries take more than they put in.....The big three are the main bread winners.

It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that losing the UK would mean that either the other 27 countries would have to pay more per head or that they will have to take a reduction

Either way your attitude professed in the original post will most definitely not be the attitude within the higher levels of EU power.

I would like to see the cast iron solid figures to prove that we take our more than we put in. I am not talking inferences or that it is 'easier' to trade. I am talking hard cash.

There is no way we take out more than we put in. If everybody did that it would be bankrupt.

I am not saying it is wrong to pay in more than we receive as there are ancillary benefits but such assertions of taking out more are, in my view, silly.

I honestly don't know.
What I do know is I think TTIP is a much bigger issueissue. I just hope the EU issue doesn't obfuscate this too much.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict that, if we want to continue access to the EU market, they will expect the same kind of payments as other non-member trading partners. We are not suddenly going to get a windfall from that source.
