The inheriting the worst debt in the world keeps getting brought up as why Labour could not be trusted

Well, this is an interesting article - and written by a Tory. The facts tell a different story

[Link]

So it was all "Rosy in the garden" when the Conservatives came to power in 2010 ? Remember the note left by Labour "There is no money left" ?
Hogwash.

As for the question about when is Cameron going to apologise.Cameron has nothing to apologise for given just some of the successes ie

1000 NEW JOBS EVERY DAY. Creation of 1,000 new jobs every day since 2010 - meaning 1,000 more people every day with the security of a pay packet.

2) THE DEFICIT HALVED. Deficit halved as a share of our economy, and building a Britain that lives within its means.

3) INCOME TAX CUT AND BENEFITS CAPPED. Rewarding work, by cutting income tax for over 26 million people and making sure it always pays to work.

I could go on and on....... !

He also needs to take credit for the better advertising of food banks which has meant that now nearly a million people enjoy free food when they get really hungry compared to the pathetic 60,000 using them in 2010. See we have all shared in the benefits of a tory government.

Typical Labour deflection tactics like the one about "Zero hours contracts". The fact remains that the greater number of food banks that are set up by charities the more people that will use them.

The fact remains that the 2.6% UK growth in 2014 is faster than any other advanced economy including Germany and seven times the level in France. There has been a 100,000 fall in unemployment announced last month and the expected unemployment rate of 5.3% this year is nearly half the eurozone average of 9.8%.There are lots of people sharing the "Benefits of a Tory government" !

There are lies, dammed lies and statistics

Figures can be made to show whatever people want. Back in 2010 there were 2.5 million unemployed in the UK, representing 8%

Current figure is 1.86m, it is quoted as 73.3% employed (not sure what that equates to!)

Well if 1000 jobs per day have been created that's 1.825m over the 5 years the Conservatives have been in power.

But the difference between 2010 & now is only .64m less

Where have the rest of the unemployed come from, or what happened to the other 1.2m jobs that have been created?

How many of the jobs are actually zero hour contracts? Which mean no guarantee of the "security of a pay packet", but they are excluded from unemployed figures

You need to be careful with raw data because the population size is not a constant.

Probably not a deflection if you are one of the nearly 1 million using them, but hey ho lets be flippant about vast swathes of people being dependent on charity to eat in a modern developed country.
The new jobs created are either low paid, zero contract or self employed none of which really represent a long term secure wage.
Real pay has dropped and only raising recently because of low inflation due to low oil prices rather the expert management of the economy so not sustainable in the long run.
Inequality and poverty has continued to raise, social mobility lessened.
So no there are not loads of people sharing in the benefits of Tory government

A newspaper columnist pretty much summed up the election for me:

Imagine what would happen to a restaurant which, when you ordered steak, took an age to bring you a plate of lukewarm baked beans, accompanied by a platoon of spin doctors to tell you that this is what you really wanted, and to point out that the establishment next door was even worse?

Watch a leftie with an agenda get owned by Adam Boulton talking bulls*** about the 'crisis in the NHS'.

[Link]

Total bulls***. Why can't lefties admit that their politicisation of the NHS is more damaging to the NHS than anything else? People lose confidence in the NHS when whinging bulls***ters like the woman in the attached video keep spreading their lies for political gain.

Roll on the election. The people aren't as stupid as the left think they are.

I'm not exactly sure what difference the actual illness makes to this point.
