It’s almost worth finding out what an “only fans” is and starting one, if that result is the outcome! Portraying something that happened once by accident as a hobby reaches a new depth of ridiculousness. You're announcing your only fans account? If you're that skint I'll lend you a tenner.

No it's not cynical! It's expressing an opinion. As is that the Royal Opera House is a British asset. Something that many believe fervently. Yes, I'm sure the average tax payer likes having to support the rich watching fat people shout at each other in Italian.

So you don't like it. Fine. Many do and find it extremely funny. It can also be quite poignant and thought provoking. It provokes the thought that he's done well to cast his entire family in it anyway.

Yes, I'm sure the average tax payer likes having to support the rich watching fat people shout at each other in Italian. Not my preference either. I was given tickets once as a “treat” but disliked the whole experience, from the attitude of the other theatre goers to the incomprehensible story. I walked out at the interval and went to a pub. Some do like it though.

It provokes the thought that he's done well to cast his entire family in it anyway. Pretty much! Knowing they are a real family with genuine relationships, the way it is set, with the audience and the cameras part of the scene, and the inclusion of mistakes and retakes all adds to the humour. It’s unique, well written and can be very funny.

Ticket prices at the Royal Opera House are ridiculous which is why when it got lottery funding it should have had strings attached related to ticket pricing. Ballet and Opera in other European countries is not elitist I know I have been to them. However when tickets are in the hundreds of pounds over here you can guess the audience.
