Suppose it’s all very Palace, PSG, Saudi, mega money, Lazio, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc? No! A.F.C. Croydon.

Wilf Zaha buying into Croydon FC to develop something for the community where he grew up is in keeping with his personality. For all that some idiots come on here and bang on about how 'Zaha will be leaving for more money because he's greedy' the documented truth is that the guy gives a reasonable chunk of his income to charities in South London and Ivory Coast, he just doesn't bang on about it. He'll be weighing up the Palace contract offer along with whatever else arrives over the summer before making the last big decision of his career. Why the hell would he not?!

My thinking too. I'm not saying it proves or disproves anything but would fit a narrative for him staying local. We now have Dazza back, thank goodness who seemed to suggest it's likely Wilf will stay?

We could do a deal with Zara to loan some of our younger players to AFC Croydon as part of a new deal to keep Zaha? Could AFC Croydon become the new Wrexham in the future?

Sadly, I expect Wilf to be wearing one of either a Spurs or Arsenal shirt shortly! Edited by The Dolphin (28 Jun 2023 10.45pm)

Dunno if anyone has seen but looks like wilf only lost one of his brothers 10days ago after a short illness. He's put a pic of the grave on Instagram and date is 18th June 23. Might explain why he's not made a decision yet if he's had other things on his mind. Edited by deflemonkid (28 Jun 2023 9.06pm)
