That will not be needed in the Championship which is now surely where we are heading, there are already plenty of nice modern empty stadiums in that division. Its far more important to get rid of the current owners including Parish and get someone in who understands how to run a PL football club. The shambles of this window and others before show just how useless Parish and DF are! I think we’ll be alright to survive, but it’s not good and you can see why quality players want out. We’re being run to be just better than 3 teams and possibly improve in January. There’s the possibility that’ll change when we sell Zaha but I wouldn’t count on it. More likely they’re holding out for a buyer.

Completely disagree. Norwich, Southampton, Leicester, and Wolves all struggled when they expanded their stadiums but are ultimately benefiting from larger grounds. Yep, it has to be done at some point, with a 1924 stand, or you’ll always be viewed on tv, in the media, by players who play there and change and shower in claustrophobia.

Here is the view, today, of talksport big mouth Adrian Durham (a Peterborough United fan) on CPFC : "Their window, I think, has been an absolute shocker. Crystal Palace. "I don't think they have improved at all, Wan-Bissaka's gone for £50m and they haven't replaced him. They haven't spent the money. "Their window has arguably been the worst in the Premier League."

True, but I doubt we’re the worst team or in the 3 worst teams. It’s going to be very painful at times though I expect. I’m not enjoying this at all. It is necessary to an extent, but no RB is unforgivable tbh. That should have happened. Still hoping a striker comes in on loan.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Global Protest Saturday' by bexleydave The silent protest is best. If you don't like it, don't go, simples. If enough people did that they would observe the message from the empty seats but you just know that aint going to happen.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Global Protest Saturday' by bexleydave I would totally understand if there was a major protest on Saturday. I doubt if I will be present to witness it as my ticket will have been reduced to cinders.A supporter who has been following the club through all the trials and tribulations since the 60s.Camel's back and straw springs to mind.

Parish I think is the fall guy in all this. The people to blame are the two Americans. It is clear that they want out and won't sanction money for the new stadium or new players, hence, the mixture of frees & loans. The lack of negotiation on Luca's new contract is a worry as is the disappearance of the upfront payment of £45 Mill from Man Utd. Surely some of that money could have gone to strengthening both full back positions even if just for cover.
