So everyone will be on welfare? They'll need to open a Wetherspoons on almost every street corner.

Somehow I don't think your local imam will be happy about that.

I know, albeit the correct description is probably add more.

And your point is?

I thought you were anti EU migrants and indeed anti the EU.

I made my point....immigration policy is a ponzi scheme....a curse for current and future generations in several different forms.

I am anti EU migrant....well to be more accurate....I'm anti freedom of movement......the economic argument was never the reason for me rejecting the EU.

that is a shocking thing to say. Its almost as if the rate of 'longterm unemployment' for muslims is statistically extremely high ? how soon before it becomes forbidden to tell the truth ?

Are you saying that people are claiming asylum and then bringing in multiple wives, each of whom needs a separate home which is paid for by the State? Wow, I never knew. I thought the asylum requirements were that you can bring in people that lived with the successful asylum claimant in the home country so I don't really see how that can be. But I guess you know your facts Becky.

Yup, whilst polygamy is illegal in this country, if the marriages have taken place in countries where it is legal, then they may bring the additional wives here. The limitation is that they can only claim the married couple's allowances for the first wife, but any others are treated as single parents and, as such, are entitled to housing benefit, child benefit et al.

Around 2050 I'd say.

Though obviously even now anyone saying anything controversial in public life is hounded by activists and then sacked by the establishment institutions big and small via fear of reputational damage.....The professionally offended rule.

What is truth isn't important......What is allowed to be said is all that matters.

I wonder how many of the Muslim unemployed are female? I would suggest that it is far more likely for a married Christian woman to work, than a married Islamic woman. Not across the board by any means but seems reasonable considering the religious and cultural viewpoints of many of both religions.

Regarding 3, immigrants historically are far less demanding on the NHS and on housing than indigenous people but pay more on average in taxes. So it is they that are funding the established population. We need to adjust the system to the demand they bring, they easily pay for themselves. And they are also highly over-represented in NHS employees.

We've gone through this already and established the studies from 'Full Fact' website.

EU migrants contribute marginally more into the system, whereas non EU take out more.

And anyway, aren't we talking about illegal immigration on dighys. Which is illegal, no matter what you can prove or disprove about the NHS.

For me to gauge the scale of the problem, do you have statistics on the numbers?

I have never come across such an example. Do you have a source?

This is from the House of Commons Library

Immigration issues
It has been the policy of successive governments to prevent the formation of polygamous
households in the UK. A UK resident cannot sponsor a non-EEA national for permission to
enter or remain in the UK as their spouse if another person has already been granted such
permission, and the marriage has not been dissolved.
