Disgusting by the BBC pumping out this narrative. The kid is aged 9!

Meanwhile the BBC is spending our money on new technology to help warring couples decide what to watch. Wow talk about re-organising the deckchairs on the Titanic.

If the Beeb wants to spend money they should look at improving the Youview box which they part own. Compared to its rivals SkyQ and Tivo its rubbish.

When I look at the BBC website I seriously have to question whether any of the journalists have an IQ over 90.

It's become some kind of 'disgust' click bait page for me.

Yep, every fifth story is about how we should celebrate this or diversity that.

Examples of todays BBC stories include:

How an owl caused a news blackout
What happened in Strasbourg ?
IRA bomb threat
female boxer in a hijab

What happened to investigative journalism ?

I disengage, I turn the page.

What I would like to BBC to cover is :

update on the Brexit vote,....they is doing that
Update on the IS battle,....no news there
update on places not to visit and road closures because of storm,....not good enough
update on the 737 crash and countries that refuse to let them operate,...not quite good enough

where is the investigative journalism ?

Funny the angle they have on this. If a boxer such as Katy Taylor is a devout Christian - which she is - then nothing. But if a devout Muslim then this.
There is also the gender issue - a white English female boxer would be fighting gender stereotypes. This Muslim one is backing up gender and religious stereotypes - yet, of course, not the BBC angle on this. If it wasn't so blatant and a waste of taxpayer's money, it would be genuinely comical.

Yep, it's the emphasis of identity issues for a minority while you know that the emphasis of identity issues for any 'current' majority group is rarely if never emphasized.

We see it from the political left all the time.....How the BBC website can claim to be politically impartial is beyond ridicule.

If I'm not mistaken its current editor is a former Guardian editor....But unlike with previous BBC editors I've found it hard to find out who it is to confirm this memory.

It maybe Fiona Campbell although from this site it's difficult to tell as so many people have fingers in the news pie.
