More on John Longworth. What is interesting is his comments regarding negotiating trade agreements after Brexit:

I want to know what the experts from both sides think as individuals. Surely giving a view held in a private capacity shouldn't compromise the neutrality of Chambers of Commerce and the like.

I think I'm marginally swaying towards OUT but it'll be IN.

Anyone who think the public gets a fair, honest and open input into things that impact on business profits hasn't been paying attention.

I suspect that even an out, will turn out to develop into a differently named 'business as usual' approach (such as joining the ETA).

Out.

Why would any one want to be part of an organisation that is intrinsically linked to the Turkish Government, who are currently using the levels of Syrian refugee's they have at their borders (trying to cross to Greece) as a bargaining chip.

Loathsome government (should get on well with our own.)

Turkey is part of NATO and a huge trade partner of the UK. UK Engineering firms get a lot of work in Turkey.

Of course plenty of people here are using the 'spectre of Syrian refugees' to push for a out.

Well, yes, just one of the many reasons for voting 'out'.

Except it has no impact on Syrian refugees and responsibilities of the UK, as those are defined by the United Nations commitments and articles on Refugees, under international law.

In fact arguably it would leave us with less options thinking about it, as we couldn't class them as migrants once they leave the country of arrival (EU rulings).

Voting out, would like give us less leeway in influencing asylum numbers. I know people like to think voting out means 'we could do what we want and f**k everyone' but it doesn't.

When I said, here, I meant in the UK. Obviously on HOL there is the assumed cavet that we should accept the fit ones, preferably with the best tits.

Quite happy to take the few genuine refugees that have not passed through another 'safe country' first. Also being outside the EU will allow us to, in your words, 'f**k' more people than we can now.
