Others less so. There is nothing wrong in celebrating and treasuring our history, but it also wise and honourable to acknowledge mistakes that can only now be recognised with the benefit of experience and hindsight.

There is no reason at all why the people, traditions and culture of Europe will be swept away. The mix of people who identify themselves as European will go on evolving just as it always has. In other parts of the world where Europeans have settled there will be a similar process and new cultures will emerge which blend a variety of elements. It’s really nothing new

So as people settle they adjust and adopt similar patterns to the UK born. With the overall numbers forecasted to decline there is no risk at all of the situation you foresee actually happening. It’s simply scaremongering.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Fact. The proportion of migrants has risen rapidly in the past 50 years.
Fact. Immigration is increasing.
Fact. First generation migrants tend to have more children than the British average. Even if the birth rate declines through subsequent generations, the population is continuously refreshed by new arrivals with higher birth rates.

Conclusion. The only way to avoid becoming a minority and eventually non existent is to halt mass migration. Your assertion relies on a total reversal of current policy and a deluded belief that a desire to migrate to Europe will decline.
