How could anyone think this was alright? A person would need to be very twisted to even think this sort of thing but to come out and say it is just unbelievable. If hate crime means anything then this is it. It’s not all right. She isn’t though a “senior” employee at the BBC nor is she a journalist. She is an administrator. So is it appropriate for her employer to get involved in what she does in her own time, irrespective of how distasteful it might be? Surely it’s down to the social media companies and the police to take any necessary action. It’s another example of the Mail winding up its readership over its obsession with the BBC.

Has she been sacked? Of course not. Imagine if she had used the same language about black people and Muslims. Her feet wouldn't have touched the floor and should would no doubt be in court for hate crimes. Perhaps she should have noticed that the 'mutant invader, melanin recessive species' has managed to dominate the world despite only being here for 5 minutes. But we always have to forgive those with plenty of melanin.

So it's the Daily Mail's fault for reporting a racist loon at the BBC? I think maybe it's you trying to wind people up on here by posting codswallop.

Its like the security gate at the airport....one way traffic only. Is there a 'National White Police association' ? nope, didnt think so. Nor a Jewish one, nor many other identities.

Err yes it's called reputational damage. She should be suspended and if the allegations proven sacked, this happened at my bank on a number of occasions even though this was "outside" of work. With the BBC it is even more important that they are not seen as bias in any way. Indeed the BBC is so sensitive to DEI it is now part of their recruitment process and you had no problem with that as you pointed out the other day.

Calvin Robinson was suspended and subsequently sacked by GB News for supporting Lawrence Fox. Seems the moral bar is set at a different level at the National treasure that is the BBC.

Racist loons exist everywhere in depressingly large numbers. The Daily Mail ignores them all, except those working for organisations it wishes to harm. The BBC being its primary target.

It’s their reputation at stake alongside the need to separate someone’s private life from their work responsibilities. After the Lineker fiasco I expect they are very wary. That said I would not be surprised if she was quietly eased out of the door. She won’t be too popular with her colleagues.

The BBC are such tremendous judges of what their employees get up to after all.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of Houdiniesque twists and turns you do to seemingly support these types of people. If she's employed by the BBC then surely is bound by their rules of employment.
