I am still convinced that Bournemouth and Southampton will drop - perm any one from seven after that, albeit I cannot see West Ham or Leicester getting relegated.
As for Everton it remains to be seen.
My biggest concern is that by the time we get to play the "lesser" teams again that we will be so lacking in confidence that we might not beat them.
Wilf could be key here - whether he stays or goes he will not want to see us relegated and he has the will and the skill to make a difference.
We will need him back - fit and fiery - once he recovers from injury.

I hope so

Statistically we gain more points when Wilf is playing than we do when he is injured. Thankfully, he is not usually out for long but at the moment with Andersen also injured we can't expect much until they are both back.

The key to survival will be how one or both of the new supposedly 'attacking' midfielders gel with the team. Then if we get more service to the forwards we will discover just how good or not Mateta and Edouard are. Edouard was prolific for Celtic, that's why we got him, but has shown only flashes of his ability.

If we don't start scoring then relegation is an increasing threat with some of those below us likely to revive and nullify our cushion. End of the month could become squeaky-bum time ....

Let's hope our two new midfielders and hopefully Jimmy Mac fit again will make us harder to beat. We just need to pick up points with more consistency than we are right now

If we don't go down this year, what are you thinking will happen next year, with owners who do not want to be a part off Palace

This summer would be the optimal time to sell the club... a prem club with potential. Let the new buyers do what they like...

Parish is barely keeping us afloat.

Be careful what you wish for! New owners could asset strip the club and sell the ground for development.

Exactly. Charlton are about to be bought out by former Sunderland man Charlie Methven the Mackems will tell you he wrecked their club for short term financial gain which didn't work anyway and now he's trying to sing the same song with Charlton fans.

I think that there is a stipulation that the ground must be used for football purposes and can't be sold for housing

Pretty much how I see things.

Everton will likely be ok now, they have enough in their squad and Dyche will be able to extract some fight.

Leeds are bang in trouble, that would be the 3rd spot for me.

Did you miss the bit where he and the others saved us?

There are a lot of clubs that have died or are dying. Southend look like being next.
