He hasn't lived up to his potential so needs to be off the payroll. A loan or sale in January would be best for us and him. Put in a big sell on clause in case he is actually as good as we thought he would be.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

We been lucky this season with mid and attacking injuries, or lack of. Sure we have a few defensively.
But soon as we get a couple in the middle go crock for a few weeks, we will be looking to this guy.

December is notorious injury month.

How Max doesn't get a start is beyond me.
The game changed the second he came on.
He links up so well with Wilf down the left and has done since he's been here.
We are a team that struggles for goals, largely in part from lack of creativity, he has bundles of it.
You could feel the buzz in ground whenever he got on the ball tonight.
He may not be great every game, but neither is Wilf, however I really belive he should be in the 11.
I also think Luka needs to be dropped for Mccarthy as he's had a shocker so far this year

Add Camarasa to that file. Wonder what the Spanish player thinks when he even can not get into the side with almost half the first team out injured?
Would really like to see the two of them start against Newcastle...

I have to reluctantly agree, he hasn't been great this season. All very well dispossessing the opposition but if your distribution is then awful and you immediately give it away again, it's redundant.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Me too. Meyer changed the game (or at least influenced it) or it was a massive coincidence because that was one of the poorest performances in years up until then. It was like watching a rubbish Sunday League team; why can't we pass the ball?!

Luka has been rubbish and is one of the worst culprits for giving it away. His corners and free kicks have been toilet too.

I agree 100% of every thing you wrote, Benteke and the Dutch lad looked pathetic, even though it was possibly Benteke's best game for ages.
Also, I don't think Roy came out of this game smelling of roses.

Meyer looks good when we're in possession, but he disappears when out of possession. Given we generally have less of the ball I imagine this is why he has struggled to break into the team. Personally I would play him on the left at Newcastle and Wilf on the right (if Andros is still out) and Ayew back in the middle. Tekkers did ok in the second half, but we missed Ayew's work ethic up top.

A bit harsh on Reidewald. He had Dann as the left sided centre half who is slower than me and Wilf as his protection in front who hardly tracked back all evening.
And he has, as a defender, our best record this season minutes played / goals conceded. Just saying.
As for Big Ben there is a footballer in there somewhere. Just not quite sure where.

Agree 100% with all sentiments expressed.
Only got to look at how good Brighton now are with Mooy. Creativity will get us goals.
Our captain is poor and plays suicide 'passes'
I'd drop him and Koyuate and play McCarthy and Meyer - it may take time but it will pay off with more goals, even if Zaha leaves.

Meyer, is a talent, still young enough to develop further. He can influence games , as he did ,last night.
But as of yet, and this is his second season with Palace, he has rarely if ever been able to keep himself in the game when started.
Brighton ,had run themselves down a fair bit ,when he came on last night, and not for the first time when in that situation he performed as his natural talent allowed. He is a good player there is little doubt.
But for the minute at his best ,when used as an impact sub.
