I did wonder why Nick has raised questions on this thread about the FLA's march against radical Islam. Antifa – the far left group he supports – met up with Al qaeda and ISIS at the G20 summit, according to a secret FBI investigation. [Link]

Here's another old headhunter.

This is all a bit sad.

When I heard of the FLA, I put my hands up to thinking "oh oh, dodgy right wing racist group", and being nervous. However, they have subsequently done nothing to cement those fears - their marches have been peaceful, I've not heard them say anything dodgy, there have been women and racial minorities in attendance, they've asked known racists to stop coming to their marches, etc.

I wonder what sort of mentality wishes to spread outright lies about the group in the name of I-don't-know-what, and to what end? Surely anyone making a noise peacefully about something we are all concerned with is a good thing? Why are anti-racists leafleting at their marches if not to create a racist association where there currently isn't one? Smacks to me of making a problem unnecessarily.

The one thing I've read on here which is a good idea is some sort of joined march with Muslims against extremism - that would be a fantastic show of solidarity and put a few fears to bed. Here's hoping.

That was me. Be careful people don't start rounding on you for agreeing with me. They might infer you are mentally unstable.

When the FLA marched passed the Stand Up to Racism group, instead of threatening and insulting them they should have asked them to join in with them in a show of solidarity.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Didn't know that. Will look into it.

Why post it on a thread about the FLA? Few people questioning them, so you thought you'd toss a dead cat in and say look at that?

Wouldnt of been a problem except for the fact they had already decided we was rascist and islamaphobic by shouting out and holding banners, must admit it was a bit confusing for them when we started clapping them😂😂 i think the gurkas and black lads and blokes who are married to different ethnicities and have mixed race children found it confusing aswell.

Below is an example of what we are up against media wise, this is a follow up piece by the daily record after John had travelled up to glasgow to meet the journalist to put the record straight after their 1st ridiculous article, the headline is an outragous lie.

Legal eagle you say you are not far left but i see you are quoting from the media source "Searchlight" which is run by an ex comunist party member!
And the march they are referring to is nothing to do with the FLA and is a different group.. march against terror i think? Which i believe is a chelsea thing.

Any way here is a back story to some far left groups that is an interesting read.

The Daily Record have just published another hit piece about the FLA and my friend and leader of the FLA John Meighan, the piece was written by journalist Stephen Stewart.
Stewart quotes an eyewatering number of “Anti-racist, anti-fascist and anti Islamophobia groups” in his feature.
On closer inspection we find the organizations are not what they seem! Most are run and organized by people with hard left connections and others who oppose the only successful counter extremist program run by the government, prevent.
Show Racism the Red Card is a group founded by a former activist in Militant tendency, the hard-left group was expelled from the labour party in the 80s and was rumoured to be involved in the notorious poll tax riots of the early 90s, SRTRC was founded as an extension of the Youth against Racism in Europe (part of the Committee for a Workers' International). The Committee for a Workers' International (CWI) is an international association of Trotskyist political parties, the connection between SRTRC and the hard left is never mentioned and they are portrayed as a reputable anti-racism organization, the roots and connections with the hard left should be cause for alarm for all who are connected with this group!
Surely a non-political alternative should be promoted and not demonized the FLA is such a group and is committed to countering extremism in all its forms it publicly states it is opposed to racism and violence.
The group Scotland against criminalizing communities, is described by Stewart as an “anti-racism civil liberties group” this group opposes the only strategy the UK Government has for preventing radicalization, claiming “It works by casting suspicion on Muslims. It is turning public sector workers into spies for the government.”
Prevent may well not be perfect but it is certainly an important weapon in the Governments arsenal for stopping radicalization, the UK government claims it has prevented 150 young Muslims travelling to join the Islamic state, this almost certainly saved the lives of the young people, the motives behind asking for its scrapping must be questioned and the credibility of any that want it scrapped must be challenged.
The spokesman Richard Hale controversially goes further and praises the support Celtic fans have showed to the people of “Palestine” he says “Celtic fans have given fantastic support to the oppressed people of Palestine.” He shares this view with some interesting people including a leading Hamas commander!
Is Richard referring to the flying of PA flags at a Celtic match with an Israeli club, or could it be the promotion of Hamas by some of the fans, only he knows for sure but the sad truth is that some Celtic fans have a reputation for supporting terrorist groups, you would not expect a spokesman for a civil liberties group to trumpet such behaviour.
Stewart continues his red roll call with the notorious Stand up to racism group which is heavily influenced by the Socialist Workers Party whose leadership allegedly covered up allegations of rape in 2013.
Another nasty little gaggle with a nice name is the UAF, Unite against Fascism which boasts anti-Semites and Islamic supremacists in its number Andrew Gilligan reported on the Islamist vice chair in 2014 “One reason why UAF will not campaign against Islamist extremists is that one of its own vice-chairmen, Azad Ali, is one. As well as his UAF role, which he took up last year, Mr Ali is community affairs coordinator of the Islamic Forum of Europe, a Muslim supremacist group dedicated to changing “the very infrastructure of society, its institutions, its culture, its political order and its creed from ignorance to Islam. Mr Ali has written on his blog of his “love” for Anwar al-Awlaki, the al-Qaeda cleric closely linked to many terrorist plots, including the September 11 attacks, and used to attend talks by Abu Qatada, the extremist cleric whom Britain is seeking to deport. He has described al-Qaeda as a “myth” and denied that the Mumbai attacks were terrorism. On his blog, he also advocated the killing of British troops in Iraq. He sued a newspaper for reporting that he had said this, and lost.”
Finally, the infamous founder of searchlight magazine is quoted in the piece “Gerry Gable, of the anti-racism Searchlight magazine, said the FLA’s London march was “the biggest protest of the far-right since World War 2”
Gable is a one-time communist party member with a criminal record who has been on the wrong end of a defamation case, where shockingly he falsely accused people of being Nazis!
Will this piece put the record straight will journalists start reporting facts instead of hard left lies and propaganda probably not, but at least all who have read this will know the truth about how the anti-racist movement has been hijacked by dangerous Islamists and Marxists.
Happy Halloween the horror is only beginning!
