I am obviously for the exit and have yet to hear why we should stay. Apparently some bod was on the tv this morning and during his opinion he commented without thinking that European markets were expanding. Really? Has he not seen how Europe is a diminishing proportion of our export market? Does he even understand what this is or means> Anyone hear this ill informed nob? Highly likely he's another Cameron chum. The few years of readjusting and adapting to life out of the EU with perhaps a small drop in GDP will be worth it. But then none of our politicians have the nerve to negotiate anything. You don't really have to when your party whip makes you all keep in line and you can flip properties whenever you fancy. Make them earn their privileges is what I say. The car industry is a good are for the scaremongering 'stayers' to use but what they fail to see are the BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Renault, Peugeot, Fiat etc that can have tariffs applied if we so wish. The Jap companies have already said they'd prefer to be us to be in the EU but would keep plants in th UK. Why? Because they cannot trust Euro workers to a) turn up, b) be able to do the job with minimal training, c) strike because the croissants weren't fresh this morning, d) Because the countries that do have the skilled workforce have competitors in their country who won't take kindly to that. Well there's the clue in the tariff threat from France. France? F***ing France. Threats from them will go down well. Edited by Rudi Hedman (03 Mar 2016 10.39am)

They will suffer most by our exit but still retain that haughty nonchalant manner towards us and won't admit it. I stopped buying french wine and cheese decades ago in protest at their failure to adhere to EU laws when it suits them.

A French government minister has sparked a row by suggesting his country could end UK border controls in Calais if Britain leaves the EU. The French are worse than our 'In' lot with all the scaremongering. Ironically one of the only foreign (ex) ministers to suggest there were advantages to us leaving was Varoufakis.

"Tariff barriers would mean higher costs and higher prices and we cannot assume that the UK would be granted free trade with Europe from outside the EU." So basically there's no basis to assume trade would be affected, unless you're also going to assume EU businesses will be happy to damage themselves by not trading with us.

The obligation would remain with the carrier. i.e. Plane, train or ferry company. If they let anyone board without checking passports, they'll be fined and have to take the person back. So they'll hardly be willing to not check papers, regardless of what that moron Macron has said. Any that try to come through illegally don't have paperwork to check anyway, so that'd be no different to now.

If nothing else convinces me that we should leave the EU it's that we are conjoined with, but holding less power than, the f***ing French. I f***ing hate the f***ing French.

Other reasons to hate he French are that they never wash, they s*** in the street, they are sexual deviants who would bang a photocopier if it was in front of them, they eat molluscs and their popular music is s***.
