The next 4 matches may just decide Hodgson’s future at the helm? Just how many more matches is it worth giving him to try exactly the same thing again? His reign has run its course, it won't change if we hang onto it for nostalgia purposes. We got Pardew and FBS in withing a couple of days of sacking Warnock and Pardew. I'd hope the board are planning something similar here.

Perhaps not every season but I wholeheartedly accept that generally I haven't been positive about our survival prospects and have been proved wrong. I have certainly been no lighthouse of joy when discussing the chances of us remaining in the PL and I have attracted ordure for being such a glumbucket.

I have, as usual, been perusing the 'Daily Mail' today and will do so later over a glass of 'Tincture' ! As my dear wife once asserted in forthright fashion after I returned from Selhurst Park after a defeat "Your face is shouting Misery, misery!" Going back to Hodsgon I believe we would have to collapse akin to 'Humpty Dumpty' for the club to rid him of his services. The likely scenario is that we will limp on as before, just escape that relegation 'Trapdoor' and provided the same ownership structure is in place and Hodgson wants to continue, his contract will be extended. I don’t disagree with that assessment - a more attack minded manager would get a lot more out of Bats, Eze, Benteke, Zaha and Townsend and a few others. Defence may not be as strong though with less cover? In truth as much as I love us being in the prem the matches at the end of last season together with the last two have been truly awful to watch. Not sure I can handle watching this type of football much longer unless it’s just a blip? The next 4 matches may just decide Hodgson’s future at the helm? This sums up the situation very well imo. Since I live many miles away, over the years I get to as many matches as I can but the last game I saw palace win was at Wembley in the FA cup semi v Watford! My granddaughter over the years has never seen palace win. My dream was always for Palace to win the fa cup. Now I dream for an attacking Palace team that actually have shots towards that white wooden thing.
Been to Anfield twice seen 14 goals and my team haven't scored any |

Disappointing lack of stats in this post, statto. You could have given us Warburton's win percentage, his inside leg measurement, or any number of delicious stats. Please do better next time. You forgot to call him a racist as he supported Brexit
