He's done very well but I wouldn't go as far as that. EG for the Arsenal goal he just stayed on his line - he should have been straight out to Aubameyang to smother any shot.

Agree.

Big fan of VG but he has not been immense just good this season.

Not a fan of the Welshman at all, but had WH been culpable for a few of VG's mistakes/goals conceded this season it would have been swiftly pointed out by quite a few. Weren't long ago he dropped a simple catch at the feet of Lacazette for one random example and plenty more where he could probably of done better.

Still, he's the best goalie we've had for a while IMO and I'm very happy with that.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

VG has kept us out of the bottom three. Twice player of the month says it all. We'll do well to keep hold of him.

Does any goalkeeper go through an entire season where he couldn't have done better a few times? I think if any Palace goalkeeper's form is ever going to be described as immense it has to be Guaita this season!

VG most certainly is immense. Statistically he's the 4th-5th best keeper in the league and top of the league for expected goals stopped. For Palace, if that can't be described as immense, that nothing ever can! Like any keeper in the world, he will make the odd mistake, but the stats speak for themselves.

Guaita's contract ends 2021? Do we have option extend his contract? If not I can see him leave this year or we have to give him free next year?

you need to leave VG out of this and point out how Martin Kelly as porous as a 2 bob whore has played a part in costing us 12 points this season. yet all the time he is "already forgiven" if sakho were to be guilty of same, it would be lynchfest among some here.

Jeez. A CB being asked to play out of position and has been playing with an injury, due to our ridiculously threadbare squad...I think this is very harsh...12 points? How many points have our forwards cost us?

How many points has our transfer and investment policy cost us?

What has Kelly got to do with a Guiata thread. Oh, of course it must have had something with the goals Vicente has conceded, can't think of any other reason.

We’ll extend his contract, triple his wages, and straight after he’ll break an arm or lose several fingers in an unfortunate accident. Katie Price is short of money so he’ll probably lose a few digits in her.
