That WAS a dreadful display yesterday and many wouldn't have disagreed with him. OTT, second half and only after their forth goal did we throw the towel in, up until that moment if the score was 2-3 as it quite possibly could've been if we behaved the same way they did we would've continued to fight them but considering the way and ease at which they converted their opportunities our players heads were just exasperated with it all. Michael Owen has seen us destroy his teams hopes quite a few times over the years so he's bound to say that isn't he, we used to have quite a hold over them before Klopp arrived and ruined it.

Granted we were actually making goal scoring opportunities in the first half but they were all wasted. It's a game the team and coaches will need to analyse because there was so much wrong. Michael Owen can of course say what he wants ... hopefully, there will be an opportunity to get one back at Liverpool in the future.

When you look at the balance of play in the first half we had much better chances than them but the difference is we have Schlupp and Ayew and they have Firminio and Mane, We panic around the box and fail to make that last pass where as they just relax and do what needs to be done. We won’t be last team that get a hammering off them this season, not a single one of our players would even make their bench. We have a winnable game next so let’s hope we do it.

Last season Sakho scored a perfectly good goal with his shoulder lol until the ref decided it was illegal, then we defended badly (sounds familiar) and left a Villa player alone at the far post and wasn't this the game where Sakho fell over in our penalty area allowing Villa the easiest of goals I think it was ..then Zaha did his head thing and lost the plot followed by Benteke being sent off after the final whistle it was all lolol, mind you Villa did wind our whole team up no end as I remember, hopefully we will put on a better performance this time ..mind you Villa are playing well at the moment.

Just consider the opening goal when there were 3 of our players in the vicinity of Mane who was in possession of the ball leaving Minamino unmarked in the middle of the penalty area.Mane was still able to pass the ball to Minamino who netted. The second goal came about with both Mane and Minamino ahead of Cahill who came out to challenge an attacker and the Liverpool players were in a central position between Clyne and Kouyate.Ball was passed to Mane who scored with ease. For the third goal,Firmino was allowed to run from deep unchallenged and when he received the cross he was all alone in a central area with the distance between Kouyate and Cahill the width of a double-decker bus. Poor goals conceded in the second half as well.

Yes but Willo it quite clearly states in the cloud cuckoo land guide that you must always be 100% enthusiastic otherwise you’re not a real fan of a football club. The mind boggles at how you could possibly support palace and ever be pessimistic!!!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

You are always negative, you have no guts you always expect us to lose and be relegated. You have been slating the team performance against arguably the best team in the world on top form , they put up more of a fight than you ever could based on your negativity.

Wilf makes their bench. And I'd have VG over Adrian, also. Eze and (on his day) Benteke might too. They're a different class to us, obviously. But let's think before making big blanket statements like that!
