Broadbrush,blustery bombastications.

Rhetorical grandstanding clinging to the wreckage that Labour actually won the election and conveniently glossing over the state of the marxist wing of the Labour party and their policies of yesteryear.

Is that a direct quote from Boris' speech? Or merely your take on it?

Willo, you made a similar mistake thinking your election campaign was going well, and then admitted your mistake. Any feelings of deja vu?

Probably lucky most have had enough elections, there's Brexit to happen, and May is being left alone by Tories until then, probably.

What a daft post.

The only people overreacting are the scumbag press and visual media who write their headlines for people with IQs in double figures and those on the left hoping to make gain.
Personally, I think someone pulling a stunt like that is lucky if he doesn't do time in the current climate. An attention seeking nobody.

Stuff like this really does highlight the moronic culture we have become.

Simon Brodkin is a comedian, the days of a sense of humour, tolerance and fair play are clearly just nostalgia.

Really? You expected an unauthorised, unidentified, person of unknown intent to approach the PM, be able to tell the police "it's OK, I'm a comedian" and to be let off immediately with a "well off you go, you cheeky little scamp".

To be honest, I think he was lucky not to get shot (I assume the PM has armed protection officers on duty at all times)

I have no recollection of admitting any mistake in this context.

After the election I was critical of both our manifesto and campaign and Mrs May herself admitted that the campaign was too scripted and too presidential. We really let Labour off the hook and allowed them to get away with murder - this cannot happen again.

I know you can't be serious.

What he did was disrespectful and irresponsible.

I shouldn't expect more from a generation of idiots, should I.

Boris and I are in agreement on this matter but alas we are world's apart in terms of oratory and articulation. He is certainly a schmoozer with a bon mot seldom far from his lips.

They're not normally hot on irony and still find Benny Hill hilarious.
