Why is this the second most important story on the BBC home page? 'YouGov survey: British sarcasm lost on Americans' Is it because the US with its military might and financial muscle are the world oppressors...?

The BBC and the progressives are quite incredible.....how openly anti male does it get?

'Does the rainbow flag need black and brown stripes?' [Link] 'It is possible to be Muslim and a lesbian' [Link] 'Gambling addict who lost £70,000 calls for more support for women' [Link] More daily inter-sectionality propaganda. Plus two anti-Trump stories. 'Has Trump turned his back on Europe?' [Link] 'Trump denies he ever worked for Russia' [Link] Still ZERO evidence of Russia collusion. like this story,..https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-46912691 How is this a BBC top story, with all the political shenanigans going on ? not just Europe stuff, but USA and N.Korea Donald Trump is not my favourite person. But he was right about the increasing amount of 'fake news' still, at least the old git wasn't driving through a tunnel in France.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Whereas I’m generally appalled by the BBC, I have to ‘defend’ it slightly in that the early reports I saw on the DoE car crash were quick to start speculating as to whether a 97 year old should still be driving. Whether it should be the lead story is - I agree - questionable.

Just to add...I meant I’m appalled by the BBC news and current affairs coverage. And Lineker, Shearer and co, obvs. I quite like Les Miserables, Peaky Blinders and of course Father Brown!

i am in the minority here, think the beeb has done a good job down the years. After seeing Fiona Bruce and Question Time I was appalled, could this be the BBC? The audience, for some reason, were 'warmed up' and loudly booed Miss Abbott, the presenter and another panellist engaged in a pincer movement egged on by the hyped up audience. They were also completely wrong, the shadow minister was correct when she was allowed to speak. At every stage the shadow minister was interrupted bullied a white person of course would never have such treatment. But we learn nothing. Our generation will not be mourned.

I trust that you're equally upset when the same thing happens to Farage etc. You don't have selective outrage, do you?

LBC just had an interesting report on the license fee. Apparently the number of people not paying has risen to 7% overall and in Scotland has reach 10%. BBC are promising to clamp down on non payment, well they would say that, however the increase has been rapid over the last 3/4 years. Is this a slow burning poll tax revolt?
