Banks do ironically. e.g. the HSBC and NatWest sports clubs although not sure the latter still exists.

I did my referees course and took my exam at the 'Nat West Sports Club' in Norbury many, many years ago.Not sure if it still exists.

The 'Hill Samuel' group had a sports ground in Warlingham known as 'Greenacres' but I understand it was sold and is now a leisure club.

'Sun Alliance' used to have a sport ground in Horsham but I don't know if it is still in existence.

I think you meant "Nut" and "WillO" !

Are you saying I'm an "Incompetent referee" or merely suggesting I am a "Referee" ? !!!!

Another leftie incorrectly uses Norway as an example of how we should live.

Unfortunately Jamie, Norway has less than a 10th of our population, is funded by oil and is able to throw a few token charms at its people, such as long paternity leave, in exchange for very high taxation and living costs.

Norway is not the utopia you think it is, nor is it socialist.

Where as the UK is a paradise of capitalist functionality that provides the people with affordable housing, utilities, transport.

High taxation and high costs of living, for a better standard of life for the majority of society - Seems an improvement to me.

Tell you what, go to Gatwick, get a Norwegian Air flight to Oslo, get the train from the airport to National Theatre, get off the train, turn left and then right, then right again, go to the Amundsen Bar and pontificate to the regulars there about your theory that higher tax = happier people.

Then turn left, left again and ask in the Upper Crust at National Theater station if they sell humble pie.

Do you think detaching yourself from reality enhances your 'argument'?

It's not a false view though Gusset!

Most left wingers are bred in the union dominated public sector, Teachers, Local Government Officers, NHS, Fire Brigade.....

Very few have the experience of having to generate a profit to keep their employment and live cushty lives in a closeted environment of good working conditions and benefits from the day they start work to the day they die.

As such they are not in tune with those of us that have had to think every day about costs, networking and the like... if you stand still for a moment some one will nick your share of the market.

Lets face it your apparent understanding of how much your pension scheme costs the tax payer as demonstrated on here shows your grasp of finance.

I think that the more you reduce regulation by state of enterprises within the state, public or private, the less influence the state has, and the greater the incentive towards self interest of the individuals at the top of those organisations becomes.

One of the primary reasons I see for leaving the EU is to reduce the capacity of a migrant labour force to feed the demand for employment by corporate entities in the UK - which is detrimental to the long term prospects of society.

Same as the issue with the deregulation of banking leading to the credit crunch, the same problem exists in terms of employment in the UK - That we have increasingly benefited the prospects of non-citizens over citizens in order to fulfil the desires and influences of a minority elite that 'direct those businesses'.

This has benefited the interest of governments, in that they don't have to spend to 'deal with the problem of unemployment' and corporate interests (in keeping wages down) - but its us, the people of the UK, who ultimately carry the true cost.
