So you feel I deserve a red card because I think our manager isn't the problem, that's nice of you.

Happy New Year to you as well.

At no point was I suggesting you deserve a red card, but am I right about your previous incarnations?

They've just heavily lost two games and they are on megabucks each week.
What do they need to spur/inspire this lot to play a decent game of 2 halves of a football match?
I'm speechless, they really don't appreciate what a great job they have. To top it of, we leave one of the best players we've got on the bench today.
Playing a mid-fielder who had a awful game on Saturday.
I would run myself into the ground if I played for Palace. New contracts, more money, greed, can't they play for passion, the fans, the owner, and the management, as well as their own self respect.
What the hell is wrong with this club?
The lethargy is appalling, the football terrible.
Totally opposite to when I started watching Palace in the late fifties when they were playing for peanuts (Percy Daltons, 6 old pence a bag)! But the football was entertaining. To much money in the game now, so sad.

Percy Daltons from the Italian lady would that be Osvaldo?

You mentioned situations where our club was in real danger of being relegated, under Roy that has never happened and as far as I can tell never will, does that answer your question.
We are currently in thirteenth place on nineteen points, eight points from trouble and eight points below Man.U in forth place.
I feel our manager is doing a decent job considering the situation he finds himself in and I see absolutely no reason for him to go anywhere.

Happy New Year.

back in the fifties did you live in a septic tank and when your father got home did he cut you in half with a bread knife and dance on your grave singing hallelujah and charge you three shillings for the privilege?

We have one more point, and against Sheffield United have a decent chance of three more. To have twenty points early in January is pretty good going for Palace. Let's get real.

No.

But you do wind people up with your incessant love in of Roy. Oh and your posting is somewhat reminiscent of another poster on here. You’re not someone with a double account are you?

I do wonder to what extent TP is responding to the army of RH haters on this site. It seems to me that there are some posters for whom RH can do no wrong but many more for whom he can do no right. In other words too many people with a jaundiced view of things.

Hodgson has his limitations and is never going to set the world on fire but he has managed to keep us out of the relegation dogfight for most of his tenure.

The concern I have about him was summed up in yesterday's game, namely why his team can come out like they did in the first half and play such timid football but then after a RL apoplectic half time fit come out and start competing. It is rare to see a Palace team compete for 90 minutes. I don't mean being in control for 90 minutes but competing with the opposition throughout most of the game.

No this doesn’t answer my question I have never said that Roy should be sacked or leave what I have done is challenged your opinion that it’s all the players fault and sighted examples of previous managers being dismissed. If the players aren’t doing what the manager wants then he either continues with them and looks to change them or bring in new or do whatever he is paid to do. Ultimately the buck stops with him as with every manager.
Is this your thinking now I have explained?
