Why was Simon Brodkin, the serial prankster led away in handcuffs did he threaten to kill someone? Is he a member of a known terrorist group? To me he "pulled" a schoolboy prank what caused the massive over reaction? The Conservatives would have done better to at least try to smile through and get sympathy Instead of that the nasty Party is seen once again. What a daft post. The only people overreacting are the scumbag press and visual media who write their headlines for people with IQs in double figures and those on the left hoping to make gain. Stuff like this really does highlight the moronic culture we have become.

In such a fashion? In a shirt and tie, holding a piece of paper? What about all those reporters with their microphones? One day it could be disguised as a weapon. What about canvassing during elections? Are you saying there are no metal detectors at the conference? Would that have picked up the false P45 ?????
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I don't remember thinking that. I know. you wouldn't. I know there was some scepticism after her Downing Street speech but there were a lot of hopeful people. Turns out it was just waffle that should be said, but not implemented.

I stand by what I say. I'm not going to give any credence to ridiculous comparisons.
In fairness I don't think the comparisons were that far fetched. There are security checks but the guy had proper accreditation and all he had was a piece of paper. While it's an embarrassment for the Tories it's difficult to police that kind of thing without becoming even more like the Workers' Party of Korea at conference than they already (self-admittedly) are. Given the checks in place someone could do a lot more mischief pretending to be a Tory/Labour/Lib Dem/Whatever activist on the doorstep during campaigning season.

Like the Mirror,Guardian, Socialist Worker, Morning Star etc etc. And The Torygraph. The wheels may be falling off to mean not enough to vote for something, but there can be enough to vote against something, and that could be 4 or 5 years away anyway.

Like the Mirror,Guardian, Socialist Worker, Morning Star etc etc. One paper spins it positively. The editorial in the Sun describes the "entire" Tory party as having come "unstuck". If you think it's purely papers on the left of centre that can see the Tories are falling apart and a complete mess then you're deluded or can't handle the truth.
