Head of a large organisation innit. Couldyou imagine a ceo earning the same as one of their gonks?

Sure, but I thought the whole trade union movement was predicated on equality and resisting taking it anally from The Man. How much of the poor, hard done by strikers' pain is being shared by the union leadership?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

That's why I said it makes me a little uncomfortable with it.
But they do get the going rate for leading a large organisation...

Funding facilities time actually saves loads of money.

Says a union who receives funding.

None of those are facts.

So the research is flawed? Would you care to explain, in detail, why it is flawed?

They say they're facts, they're not. No more details required.

Twas government commissioned research.

Later research [Link] also makes similar findings.

But no doubt because it was commissioned by Unison you'll say it's crap. It'll be interesting to see what you pick from the research methodology that makes the findings redundant.

Personally, I was thanked by a head I worked for for saving thousands by carrying out health and safety inspection s rather than the organisation spending money on outside agencies to do it.

Are you qualified to do H&S Inspections? Plus an annual or termly H&S inspection would not run into thousands or should not.

Everything you post a link to is crap. Especially when it's 10 years old (I mean, it's not like much changed in 2008 did it?) and hugely biased.

You know what actually save loads of money? Not giving it away to these bunch of dickheads, who use it to screw over the public. There's more money lost in GDP from pointless strikes than they could ever claim to save.

I was, think I need to do a refresher. I carried out twelve or so inspections over 3 years. The inspections took around half a day with more time to wrote reports. Do you think an agency would do this for less than £250 a time

You are or you aren't, they don't expire. Some might suggest you're making this up to suit your story...

A competent advisor (with qualifications coming out of their arse) would only charge a few hundred quid per annum, and would do reports on request.
