I still can't quite believe what happened this evening.

The Palace roller coaster eh! Not even worth beginning to analyse that.

An unbelievable 3pts with a notable mention to the defence who defended for 90 mins, Townsend and Ayew for running all night (albeit only twice with the ball)...oh yeah and our 2 deadly strikers.

I don't think I've ever laughed so much after a match.

COYP

I know an aged supporter who wears dentures - Probably guffawed so much they were catapulted out of his mouth.

So many good threads on North Stand Chat.

"That Hurts"
"The Match Thread"
"I do not believe what I just watched"

and about a dozen others concerned about us.

Pure comedy gold

We have played pretty dire football since the Liverpool drubbing and especially over these last 5 games and yet over those last 5 games, only
-Citeh
-Leicester
-West Ham
-Chelsea and
-Wolves
have scored more than our 9 points. Hilarious, isn't it. 10 points ahead of Fulham and only 8 behind Liverpool lol.

Well, that was as bizarre as it was inexplicable as it was hilarious.

I'll tell you what though, whilst we stole the win, we earned the point we were going to get until Benteke channeled his inner Van Basten.

Back to basics, a depleted side worked hard for the draw that suited us far more than them. I can't remember a game where the players threw themselves in front of the goal so often in such committed fashion. Easy to say that's the least we should expect, but actually it's unusual to see any team do it to the extent ours did tonight.

Brighton may have had tonnes of shots, but Guaita wasn't making a tonne of saves.

The funniest thing is since our 7-0 the bin dippers have been s***e. Agent Hodgson at work again

A bunch of guys from South London going down to the south coast to commit robbery probably isn’t anything new but never had it been done with such hilarity!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

When Townsend received the ball near the end, Hodgson might have wanted him to run to the corner flag to run the clock down but thankfully he had other ideas!

I suspect Benteke will start against Fulham. He holds the ball up much better than Matete.

I must admit I was absolutely delighted for Benteke. I know he has boiled all of our blood but I just have a soft spot for the chap.

Me too

No worries. I worked it out.

He's giving it the big 'un on the Roy Out thread now. A deeply dull, repetitive and tedious individual.

As there is no 'like' function on HOL I shall just type the letters L I K and E here instead.

Smash and grab win are always the best in my book ..... Just like the good old days with AJ - one shot on target and 3 points in the bag

Amazing shift put in by our back 4 - threw themselves at everything.

Not sure why people are so obsessed with stats these days - the only one that matters is 1-2

My favorite post of frustration from the NorthStandChat thread titled "I Can't Believe What I Just Saw..."

I've had to go and find the cat. I kicked him into the field at the back of my garden, but typically I missed my target. A Palace fan walking past found him and come in my garden for the first time ever and put him back through the cat flap
