One aspect of the Swiss Ramble analysis that surprised me was the comment that Palace had spent £19m on player purchases - mainly Kouyate who I believe cost c£9.5m. They further comment that Meyer, Guaita and Sako (6 month deal) being free. Hence, presumably they are adding in signing on fees/agents which might make it close to the £19m they state.

Just three new pages on here on the latest accounts and already up to nine on NSC. They really are peculiarly obsessed with our finances whilst ignoring the fact that were it not for their Penguin sugar daddy, waddling carefully around FFP rules (like Cummings treats lockdown rules), they would never have afforded even a receptacle to micturate in.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Did you ask them how much parachute payments are these days?

Did you ask them how much parachute payments are these days? I don't subscribe to or, therefore, post on NSC, or indeed any other team's sites. I don't understand why anyone does that. I'm just an occasional reader of NSC for my own amusement and, trust me, they're seriously worried about relegation, especially in light of their next three games.

This makes for depressing reading. We aren't generating our own profit ourselves, relying mostly on Premier League Broadcasting revenue and the sales of our best players to scratch the tinest profit margins. To me, those 2 revenue streams definitely DO NOT go hand-in-hand. If we didn't sell Wan-Bissaka, we'd be operating a loss and that finally explains why we didn't replace him. By a minor miracle, Roy has steered us clear of a relegation battle this season where I'd say the majority of Manager's would have had us flirting with relegation. We will make a loss again next season unless we sell Wilf Zaha. We cannot replace him if we want to make a profit. That will leave us without our best attacker and best right-back/player from the previous season. CPFC2010 might be okay with that but they must really have their heads in the sand if they think that also equals retaining Premier League status. We'd get relegated and lose 80% of our revenue, meaning the sales of Wan-Bisakka and Zaha were pointless. Surely they have to see that investing in the squad and operating at a loss is still financially better than selling the best players and getting relegated. We can only push on and make more money through marketting, European Football, creating new Palace fans by playing a better more exciting style of football. Otherwise it will always rely on player-sales and a 70+ Year Old Manager performing 'boring' miracles each season. Unsustainable.

Why are the club always late? if you are looking at companies house they often take a week or so to update. So accounts could have been submitted on time but website has yet to upload documents.
