Reading this makes me wonder if it was better in the good old days. Queues round the car park for hours almost days for tickets. Discovering what excuses your newly made queue friends had given to their employers to get off work to get cup final reply tickets. Going to a concert where to get tickets the venue had a 'box office,' which was a dark hole in the wall where you thrust a handful of cash through and a grubby hand thrust said tickets back. There is no soul to this on line malarkey no effort other than a bit a dialling or pushing buttons. Maybe there should have been one magic computer by the box office which we all had to queue up first come first served to earn our place at Wembley!

I remember queueing for 6 hours at Selhurst to get a ticket for the play off semi against Sunderland in 2004. It was a scorching day, I got a suntan standing in the sunshine and the people around me took it in turns going into Sainbury's to get refreshments and we had a good laugh. It mean't so much more to me when I went the match as I had spent so much time and energy getting the PRIVILEGE to go, as I know many missed out who were still queueing. Online is so soulless. It makes me cringe.

Pretty sure for '76 semi we started in Park Road, went down the Whitehorse, along Clifton Rd then up the Holmesdale into the car park for the ticket office. Long time ago now and memory plays tricks - there were no loyalty points but I recall vouchers on the back of the programmes. Can't remember if they were relevant. Anyone? Not as much fun on-line now but probably a better system for rewarding loyalty of fans. (After all, anyone can join a queue).

Can someone please help me. I have purchased a season ticket for next season and have been given 500 loyalty points (and membership). I was of the opinion that I qualified for Phase 3 but a poster on BBS is suggesting I will not qualify under Phase 5!! Is this right?

Apparently the data was sent from CPFC to SEE tickets at 5pm on Tuesday 22nd March so if you paid for season tickets after that, SEE won't have the points.

I purchased the season tickets (one for son as well) in January and our profiles say we have 500 points. I also purchased Silver memberships (didn't realise may not need this), although this doesnt show up on my son's purchase history, only mine. He does have 500 points and ST on his profile.

Fully expecting the link on Monday to go belly up. Going to be rather busy.Think where child tickets are concerned they should have been allowed a ticket with an adult purchase, as long as they were either a member or season ticket holder . I doubt it will mate. SeeTickets has held much larger events and more online traffic than 'Phase semi-final tickets for CPFC'.
