Normal routes are still open abroad. Thousands of Ukrainians were given visas to come and work as fruit and veg pickers. I doubt many of those arriving by dinghy would take up employment in the NHS, just an opinion. I’m not sure how to respond to the rest of your post, as I don’t actually understand it. Although I am assuming you are claiming I have made stuff up and am lying, c’est la vie, whatever. People were dropped off but this has been explained earlier today. You swore on your newly born gds life the home office wouldnt do this! Now saying it did happen! I said the HO wouldn’t intentionally dump and abandon them. If you read back, they were taken to Victoria as they had all said that they had family who would meet them. Those whose family did not arrive were taken to a hotel in Norwich. So yes I am standing by my assertion that the HO did not just abandon them. Edited by Spiderman (05 Nov 2022 8.38pm)

I actually wrote “ do not dump in these circumstances “ . which. Still stand by. The actual circumstances of why they were taken to Victoria have been covered by me and newspaper links. Obviously we will never agree so, clean slate

You can ignore them if you choose to, and convince yourself all is fine, and would either be worse if there had been no Brexit, or at least the same. I don't and I suspect nor will most others. Even the ardent Leavers didn't think the economy would boom after Brexit. It wasn't about that was it? It was about "taking control"! The problem is, we haven't! Brexit is a failure. It's time to accept that and do something about it. aka guessing.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

You contradict yourself in the very next paragraph. As for you adapting! All you have ever done is moan about any democratic process you haven't liked, from Trump to Brexit.....and then have the temerity to point at others for not 'embracing change'. Talk about contradictions, Cyclops was less one eyed. I often struggle to discern your logic, as now. As soon as you describe Brexit as a democratic process we partcompany. It wasn’t. Triggering Article 50 was what gave it legitimacy. I have never complained that Trump’s election wasn’t democratic, only that it was sufficiently tampered with to cause concern. It’s his behaviour since which seriously threatens democracy. Although I always thought, and continue to think Brexit was stupid and should have been avoided by Parliament, I have done nothing to try to interfere with it. I just argue for a renegotiation of the deal which would lead to a more sensible future relationship. I am not just going to sit idly by if circumstances demand that yesterday’ changes don’t suit tomorrow’s needs.

He wasn't known to counter-terrorism police or the security services before the attack. Yet the report states that Tim Jacques' opinion is "that the suspect's actions were primarily driven by an extremist ideology", without any further explanation, bar the fact that he made some anti Muslim comments on Facebook. I'd like to know how he came to this conclusion. Edit: I presume he's not Jewish, although looking at him...(just kidding) Edited by Tim Gypsy Hill '64 (06 Nov 2022 1.16am)
