I hope Parish has learned from his past mistakes. Stop gap managers just kick the can down the road. The manager needs to be given maximum time and appointed with enough time to gel a team together. The manager should be actively involved in recruitment. Players need to be bought in as early as possible not a bargain dash on deadline day. The squad needs to play preseason together, not half of them in one place and half in another.

Piss poor planning makes miss poor performance. Last summer was piss poor planning and we made minimum effort to rectify it in January.

Paddy might be a great PL in the making but has no PL experience, and Roy has lots of experience. Roy came last time to bail us out of a relegation slide and that's what we need now, avoiding relegation

Ray Lewington as advisor would make more sense although Paddy has worked with all these guys for years and has a lot of experience himself. If he has fresh ideas then maybe they shouldn’t be squashed by being exposed to old ones?

This forums so ironic and baffling at times. So quite a few of you are singing Vieiras praises and suggesting leaving/turning in your season tickets if Roy gets the position for the last 10 games because its boring, awful football. Have I missed something here??? The last 10 games we've had under Vieira, Palace have scored 2 goals and haven't won a game. Not to mention a new record of zero shots in 3 games, the lack of any attacking threat or generally any threat... any cohesion or any semblance of a squad seen over the last 10 years. At least under Hodgson there was some grit there albeit not exciting football. If he keeps us up then good... another season to regroup again. I don't want Roy back but I am not delusional to the fact that Vieiras tenure hasn't been rosy and brilliant.

It's hypocritical to think its been marvelous under Vieira, it hasn't... the last 10 games have been some of the most gutless games I've seen.

Parish must have thought he had hit the jackpot when Harris and Blitzer came on board. Sadly it wasn't to be. I don't understand those two billionaires. As I said early on and it has proven to be true, their hearts are just not in it. It has been a really bizarre investment and safe to say it's over.
What we need to move forward and upwards is a heavyweight deep pocketed investor who can see the benefit of owning the only big club in South London with a massive catchment area.
Neither H&B nor Textor would appear to be the ones. Is it them or what they find once they are in?
