So pleased for Benteke and Palace, especially after reading the first two pages of s*** on this thread. Edited by Dangermouse (16 Dec 2017 6.04pm)

14th in league. Give me that any day for season end. Like last season then? I keep remembering the result, stopping what I’m doing, clenching both fists and shaking them at waist level and shouting “YESSSSSS!”. This result has made an old man very happy, and I may well have a celebratory ‘tincture’ in a short while!

If we can get three points from Swansea, next game, away we'll have put the 7 game horrors behind us, and made up from them, going to 20 points with 19 played; at the half way point of the season. Then we can be more relaxed regarding the Arsenal and Man City game (though I fancy our chances of getting at least a point from the Arse)

Had to pinch myself at times how composed and well we were playing. We are now playing consistently well for the most part. Also got to remember the players missing so squad not to bad it seems.Add two or three top draw players in jan and we will be ok . Players we see us as quite attractive now as we are playing good and exciting stuff .I know fans think we need another goalie but think that can wail until summer as a striker and defender/midfielder are more priority I think ,happy days .

Leicester have been playing with such verve and drive, quick on the counter and I really feared the worst. Today they were a shadow of the side that have done well recently. Players looked jaded and the high-energy game was missing.Hardly saw Vardy and Mahrez. They did have problems on the way back from Southampton on Wednesday and we had an extra day's rest so maybe this was a factor. But take nothing away from our impressive performance. We were organised, disciplined and composed and fully deserved our win.Onwards and upwards ! Going out now to celebrate !!!!

Loved the other players' reaction at the final whistle and on the bench to Sako's wonder goal. We played a lot of very accomplished stuff today. Honourable mention to Schlupp, who was a lot better than he's been in recent games. I'm sure he was pleased with the result against his former employers.
