Some alarming behaviour on this thread.

Didn't realise that being left wing meant that you weren't welcome to have grown up discussions about grown up subjects on this board.

Sad.

This is normal.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Don't forget Biggineagle. Shame is, you've carried on using the name calling and playground insults that are so prevalent on there and have sullied this site with it.
You do seem bitter.
But back to topic, do you think Jo Cox 'deserved it ' as has been alluded to by infidel groups on their websites and social media groups?

Examples?

And to the second part. Are you having a laugh?

I have made my feelings on the subject very clear.

Stop these little games. It's just slimy.

Turkey started talks on 35 chapters in 2005. One has been completed, another 34 to go. At this rate Turkey will fulfil the criteria for membership in 2445. I will be aged 480 by then. And then France and Austria will be able to fulfil their pledge to hold referendums before they support entry.

Turkey will be fast tracked on 24th June 2016. WILL happen

Evidence for this? Or is it another conspiracy theory? I'll bet £100 towards any registered charity you name that on June 25th Turkey will be as far away from being a member as it is today. My charity is Autism Sussex.

The EU promised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a whopping $6.7 billion as well as political allowances if his government would take back refugees who reach Greece through Turkey.

Turkey has been the primary facilitator for al Nusra, ISIS and other terrorists, as well as terrorist weapons shipments and a highly lucrative black market oil trade – to move and out of Syria over the last 5 years.

By helping to destabilize Syria and thus actively helping to create the Syrian and refugee, and by extension the EU ‘migrant crisis’ – Turkey appears to now be blackmailing Brussels over a problem it knowingly helped to create in the first place. The fact that EU elected leaders and bureaucrats are so ignorant as not to see this fundamental problem directly in front of them is almost too shocking to comprehend.’

The points you raise in your 2nd sentence are sadly true. But to then assert that this meant Turkey will get fast tracked is absurd. As I said, Turkey will be no nearer entry into EU by 25 June, or I will be 100 quid poorer, if you accept my challenge.

the first bit is cut and paste too lol. not as tho it matters i just thought it looked odd so i googled it. most discussion of the eu is redundant at this point as people just cobble together reasons to support their pov rather than actually think about anything. its descended into fox news and huffington post mindsets.. not budging on anything that is reasoned but opposed. I'll be glad when this vote it out of the way whatever the result.
