That said. I think Pardew has a worse starting point, and a 40% win would equate to around 45 points, and 33% would be 39ish.

I agree - points per game provides a better method of measurement. But it’s good to compare win percentages, even if only to remind yourself how previous managers performed from a fan enjoyment perspective - which I totally get for some is a moot point as points tally is king. For me personally a Palace win deffo lifts the spirits more than 3 goalless draws!

Dean Ashton on talk sport actually said what many are thinking just 7 mins in. Not about today's game but about footy being more than just staying in the prem. How fans want entertainment for their input both emotionally and financially. To paraphrase him I guess.

It's all very well saying that.

I would like Dean Ashton to name one manager that has selected a team and introduced tactics that would ' entertain ' as a priority over getting results.

Well he was a footballer and we are boring.
How many times have you felt entertained.
I mean roy Hodgson is not exactly Russell crowe.

I don't see that as proof of VFM.
I have invested in my ST so I haven't lost my love for CPFC. Just bored with them atm.
