They'll be resting a few key players with an eye on the Champions League. They will still smash us though. 3-0 City.

They’ll be on a bit of a come down from the heights of PSG to Smelhurst park a few days later, so I think we’ll get a result, they’ll toy with us and only score 3

Sadly their second 11 would probably beat our strongest 1st 11 and although we will try as ever they can pass through us. Having said that I believe it will be close so a 1-2.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I think the media are saying that City can win the title this weekend if the planets align so I expect a comfortable win for them 4-0.

Let's hope they are saving themselves for the 2nd league of the Champions League. Maybe at the Captains meeting Luka might point out they should expect robust treatment on Satursay.

Think we could aspire to a good result for us,losing only 4-1 to the Champions Elect.

Set up for 0-0 but it will be Palace 0 Citeh 2nd XI 2. Comfortable win for them.

We need to play like PSG did in the first half last night.

Mighty Man City are soon to play
Our beloved Crystal Palace on Saturday.

After watching them play
Last night in gay Paree
As they ran and ran and chased every ball
I could feel my knees a knockin.

I pondered a while that all that effort
Will have surely left them knackered
Then I thought of our old Palace
Who I regret are always knackered.

So I did conclude after careful considerin
That they will score goals a plenty
And whilst a valiant effort we will make
Our contribution will be a big fat zero.

May as well just grab a couple of beers and enjoy some great football
That's theirs of course not ours.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I think he will make 11 changes so we may have a chance however that would mean sterling and ageuro up front. I have lumped on 2-1 and 3-2. Roy should drop Reidewald and milo and play schlupp and mcarthy I am gobsmacked he keeps playing reidewald apart from his embarrassing 2 touches when bearing down on goal he didn't win 1 challenge

Agree about Mateta. He must wonder why on earth he bothered to come to Palace. Not the first player one can say that about under the current regime. I'm interested to know how many players have actually improved under RH. I can think of a few who have declined. I'd also like to know when was the last time a tactical change by our manage made a difference to a result. But we mustn't stray from the point of the post which was what might happen against Citeh.
It seems to me that nothing 'magical' happens with this group of players. We are predictable. Last night's result was predictable. We didn't play badly, but the result was predictable and indeed widely predicted. in view of that, it's difficult to see much of a difference of Saturday.

Players improved under Roy to name a few.
Wilf - having his best goal scoring career this season
AWB - sold for 50m
Mitchell - looking a solid Ob
Schlupp - key player and we miss when he is not playing

We have the oldest squad in the league so many will decline. It’s difficult to improve players who are in their 30’s.

The last time Roy made a tactical change which changed the result. Didn’t he go to three up front at Everton and Batsyuia score a late equaliser?

We lost to Leicester who are 3rd in the league and we will likely lose to Man City. We are an old team and none of our players will get into these teams. 12 players out of contract and a manager who will likely be replaced at the end of the season.

4-0 Man City

Perhaps with the exception of the QPR game, they probably have the biggest game in their history this week so they're bound to rest a couple. Can't see anyone at City being happy if one of our lot tries to murder De Bruyne again a la Puncheon.

They'll likely go with something like:

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Mendy
Fernandinho
Gundogan
Silva
Sterling
Torres
Jesus

On paper it's the single best time of the season to play them. Every chance we can we can nick something if we are at our absolute best and they end up a bit distracted. Just don't concede early or it'll be a long day. 2-0 City.
