This is a club issue and not a Roy issue. For me, the manager has to work with the recruitment team to play the system the manager wants to play. The recruitment team cannot be going off doing its own thing. Roy’s number one objective is to keep the club in the league. He has passed with flying colours. But the recruitment policy is way off for me. We spent 26m odd on Sakho for Frank de Boar. Sakho was never a FdB signing. Forced upon by the board because he had done well on loan. We then spent on Camerasa, 1.5m loan fee plus 3.5m in wages Regardless of who the manager is, if you sign players that they do not fancy then it’s unlikely going to be an good investment. You might have seen on SKY today Carragher praising Leicester for their recruitment, finding players to replace the likes of Maguire,Mahrez, Drinkwater, Chilwell. They reported that the 'Net Spend' whilst Brendan Rodgers has been at the club (Since Feb 2019) has been a mere £9 Mill.

Yeah well they have been selling their players for fortunes to help net spend figures. They have signed several unproven players in this league or level, but they weren’t cheap

I recall meeting a Luton supporter on holiday and I was singing the praises of Justin when he was still at the club, having seen him play, indeed I lavished praise on him in this country to certain people. Justin can play in both full-back positions and he played a lot of games for Luton at left-back even though he is right-footed.He has even played in a midfield 'Diamond'.I wish we had bought him !!

Everybody associated with this club from the supporters to management have only been to aware that we have been short in the striker position and we have been crying out for a decent striker for ages. We bought in Alexander Sorloth I believe on Roy’s recommendation and what a turnip he turn out to be.Yes he had a very good season on loan and everyone was questioning if the club had made a mistake, but once again he has bombed and playing now as a main substitute.

So Roy keeps us up (which is his remit btw) using the players he feels are best for that job, he does this with many games to spare and it's ridiculous that he's not using the players on the bench more?...

He has kept us up. That we are 11 points above the zone is also due to our having played most of the bottom half teams twice already, coupled with a very poor bottom three teams making life a lot easier at this stage than in most seasons. Let’s see how far up the table we are after 38 games

Another season like this? I know for some of you this is our most successful period in our history. Does it have to be so depressing? I know this argument has been going on for ages but is Roy the ONLY hope we have of staying in the PL?
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

When we finally go down and we will, the only thing we will have gained from our PL tenure w the academy. SP will still be a sh*thole and we will be back to square one. Our natural position in the football food chain is the Championship anyway

It's like a slow death watching the same old players do the same old stuff week in week out. Roy is sucking the life out of the club. I can't see how we'll ever fill the stadium if he stays any longer
