That document says that the shares are ten a penny, and that they have been given 30,818 shares. That equates to £30.82

Either this bloke's not a very good business man or £4,999,969.18 is going to fund something else.

The nominal value of a company's stock, or par value, is an arbitrary value assigned for balance sheet purposes when the company is issuing share capital – and is typically £1 or less. It has little to no bearing on the stock's market price.

Does freeing up this amount of capital suggest we are going to payout for a manager rather than take whoever doesn't have a club currently?

I am linking us finding funds from a new source directly to the cost of prizing someone away from their side, like Sean Dyche away from Burnley?

I reckon everything is for sale for the right price.
I think it could be the worst thing for us to be bought by some private investment firm who will only be thinking of lining pockets not the club or fans etc.

This is all a bit disappointing, I was rather hoping this was the start of something much bigger.
