This will be a game that Hodgson will want to ensure we don't lose. I think we will get a draw at the least but will go for a narrow win (1-0 or 2-1).

I hope Townsends stays on the left and Ayew on the right, goes to show crosses make it much more dangerous with people in the correct positions, i would like to see Eze in the middle, 4-2-3-1, to match Fulhams same formation, and i expect Benteke to start and Mateta to replace him later, 2-0 Palace

My changes from Monday would be McCarthy for Eze and Benteke for Mateta. Think it’s going to be another one sided game where we have to rely upon our defending and rare attacks? If we go behind then bring on Eze and hope for the best. Afraid I see another Burnley game ahead for us as I’m not getting over excited after the very lucky Brighton win :-(

I lazily agreed with the 1-1 result but want to review. I think the game will go more like:

Concede 65% possession
Fulham get shots in a plenty.
None really trouble Guita.
HOL thread almost combusts with posters saying FFS we're playing Fulham not Bayern Munich.
We win 1 - 0 with one of only 6 shots, 2 on target.
Roy Out thread passes 400 pages...

Would you be happy for us to loose to Fulham to see Brighton have problems

No. I couldn't care less about Brighton. I want Palace to win every game. If we beat Fulham we will be 13 points ahead of them, which would put us within touching distance of safety.

I'm not being professor hindsight but I fancied us to get a result v Brighton (a doughty draw), but it will be hard to raise our game again v Fulham. They need the result more than we do so I see more Royball - a 1-1 draw with similar stats to the Brighton game could well be what transpires.

That twig might break with me on it as well.

I concurr, (but not with The Score). RH will be all, defend, keep your shape, hit them on the break.

difference Is they have proven to have defensive frailty, so I think we'll have more than 2 chances. think the 100% conversion rate will Be tough to replicate, so still think we'll struggle to score.

Think they will, so i'm going 1-2 defeat.

0-2 because Fulham are playing well at the moment and we aren't. Two sublime, or flukey, goals against Brighton makes no difference to the way we are playing at the moment, which isn't well. What was pleasing about the Brighton match was that we showed character that had been woefully missing against Leeds and Burnley.

I agree with this and Benteke deserves to start based on his cameo at Brighton. Mateta still has a lot to learn about holding up the ball.

Be happy with a point, crawling closer to safety. Guess Fulham will boss the game, but hope the gaffer gives Eze more freedom this time around.
Start with the same set-up and keep Mateta on the pitch till he runs out of steam.
