I won't claim to know more than the coaching staff but is it not obvous that we look better with Riedewald on the pitch? He has a pass in him and runs off the ball. Surely it is clear that our midfield is so static with McArthur and Mila. One of them has to be sacrificed. The lack of changes has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. There's a decent case for radical changes, but that won't even be considered, not for one moment. I swear McArthur would start a game on crutches, rather than start Reidewald.

For all the complaints about Roy, he is still the only manager we’ve had in the Premier League who has never had us in any real danger of relegation. This isn’t about to change. You can quote me on that. Could be an interesting end to the season!

Sleepwalking nowhere. It does look that way, I agree. My hope is that the club is currently being run in such a way that Parish can navigate a way forward. I can guarantee that he does keep his fingers on the pulse of every aspect of our club. He will be well aware of fan sentiment, shortcomings and strengths of both players and management, and will be planning on ways to change. That plan may or may not include replacing Roy. But it will be one that in his opinion maximises our chances of staying in the Prem

"Mr Parish, you do realise that many of this current crop of players will all be over 30 and half the team will have their contracts expire at the same time in 2021? That'll be a lot to deal with unless we make a few interim plans to bridge the gap".

Football is suffering financially I think average players are not going to get the big bucks they once did. The rest of Europe is really suffering more so than us. It could be a buyers market and as our players are not exactly performing well how likely is it they will get a better offer and are we even bothered? Our better players will be looked after no need to break the bank for the rest. Edited by Badger11 (27 Jan 2021 4.00pm)

Don't worry, the goals and wins will come again once Conor Wickham is back ...

We'll be in National League South by then! Interesting. Let’s see, that will take just five relegations. Wickham will be 32 when the National League South season starts in 2025. Yes that could work. He should be able to stay injured for a few more seasons at that level.
