We have to give the Cup our absolute best shot. There are many huge, unseen benefits from winning the FA Cup, and doing so is a realistic (if incredibly difficult) ambition at this time.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Same question every year. My view - yes. Incredible international exposure a raised profile players say a good run adds vim to their league performance a chance to give fringe players a run and a bl00dy good day out at Wembley covid permitting.

I think we can forget about any kind of cup run. It looks increasingly likely that lockdown 2 will be enforced from midnight tonight. Priority will be given to the league (I hope), and that will probably be dragged out into the summer as last season. Happy New Year everyone.

Of course I do. It's the only thing we can win, an FA or a league cup. I miss the feeling of even achieving a play off place. Yes the first few seasons staying upon was a substitute for that but would love nothing more then a cup run and win at Wembley, even if it was to be without fans. Originally posted by monkey

I'm always a yes, also for the league cup, but this year I'm a no. As per the OP, it would be gutting if we won it and fans weren't able to attend. The midtable mediocrity we are in is a pretty dull existence, again this season we will be nowhere near Europe or relegation and our season will effectively be over after about 30 games. Cup runs and the dream of lifting silverware are all we've got to live for these days as Palace fans. With the quality of our squad we should be going for cups as with a favourable draw we've got a realistic chance.

Until this moment, I didn't realize I'm an improper supporter. And if you might deign to explain: what does it mean? (Yes, I realise that some supporters will consider me an improper speller.)
