Could always come back in 3 or 4 years for the promotion push... il parle Francais. Maybe he would be happy at Paris Saint Germaine ? a bit of a step down from Palace....PSG have huge money but they play against donkeys most weekends. Easy games for a money-team to win. We play in the toughest league in the World. Edited by PalazioVecchio (06 Dec 2020 6.52pm)

I would really like if he left and won a trophy at another club! All his talent! I would be gutted if he retires with us with no trophy! Then the following season we then get relegated 🙄

The fact is that we can’t possibly directly replace Wilf, who has arguably been the best player to ever wear a Palace shirt. So firstly, no player with his pedigree would come to Palace and secondly any replacement coming up from the development squad won’t be ready for years. We have to come to terms with a less good option and live with it. Hopefully the funds he brings will buy the equivalent of three Eze’s, which would be a great start... To be fair to Parish the day he fvcked Pulis off in favour of Zaha isn't looking too bad a decison. I couldn't say with any confidence that we'd have won today without him ten men or not. The second goal and timing of it killed them.

It all depends who we bring in to replace him Sarr would not be same type of player. The one we should have gone for was Saint-Maxim now at Newcastle.

Bit ironic that Arsenal, who are his favoured club, are now below us and with an inferior goal difference. I'd love him to stay, but I can't blame him for wanting a move.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

There's no evidence that we're capable of winning games in the Premier League without Zaha. Most likely, we'd be a mid-table Championship side with our current squad minus Zaha. You have to score goals in the Championship to get promoted, and we've proven we can't do that without Zaha. Our defense would be adequate enough to keep us 8th-12th in the Championship. We're built to scrape out 40 points to survival in the Premier League. We aren't built to be at the top of the table in any league.
