Agree with most apart from moving Bats on .Although he is not actually our player at moment. Would wait to see how bats performed from now on in .Definitely think he is an improvement on Ayew ,and personally think he has a bit more about him but time will tell . The cynic in me says we won’t see a decent performance from him until he’s decided he needs to impress someone. He obviously hasn’t impressed the club otherwise he would be one of the first names on the team sheet. Makes me wonder whether we would have been better taking the young midfielder on loan or RLC back.

Don't think we needed RLC as pretty blessed in midfield and Probably not using bats as much as he seems to prefer Ayew at moment, and there too similar to play together in my opinion.

One thing we can all see is whenever we start doing well and wondering about Europe, our current form is where we go. Best to never mention Europe again, until we're sitting in the away end at Porto.

Not so sure we are blessed in midfield, more like we have a few very similar players. I disagree about RLC. He brought a different dimension to our play in his loan spell. Our best spell of football under Roy in my opinion during his stay.

Bexley Eagle yesterday posted that the way things are going, it's hard not to see another scoreless defeat (v West Brom). Can anyone put their finger on why things were going so differently just a couple of months ago. I think it was Dann who was saying then how nice it was to be looking up the table rather than down. I think even the dreaded word Europe appeared in one post. What has gone wrong? Or is it the case that nothing has changed and that were we just living in a fool's paradise and just getting lucky at that time? As with everything 1 win and everything will seem much better. It is just the last 2 games have been so disappointing against 2 very poor teams.

And that’s the issue, nobody expects big wins against the top 6 or 4-0 against our rival mid/lower table opponents week in week out, but when you lose 2 in a row against teams we should and need to take points off without offering a goal, you would expect Roy to look at the system and the team selection. But he doesn’t we trot out the same old garbage way to play week in week out, hoping the opposition is either having an off day or just as bad as us. I fully expect us to lose against WBA , no goals for Tekkers or Bats and zero creativity from our midfielders as they are drilled so much into a defensive role they have no idea what to do in the final third. We’re treading water and eventually one season we will drown.

If Zaha plays, we will do well. If he doesnt then we will be ineffective again. Somehow, despite all the warning signs over recent years, we have become even more reliant on him.

I agree with most of your comments but have to ask you did you actually watch the game against Brighton? No, you're right, I didn't. I was going on what someone told me. Sounds as if he didn't see it either!

We were awful against Brighton and were played off the park. Lucky to escape with a point. The only game where we were by far the best team was against a Man U side that were clearly under prepared.
