But not overlooked. And got game time on Friday. Jairo WAS overlooked - for 18 months after a very good performance against Man City. Then he was dropped after being player of the month in February. After winning plaudits by almost everyone since he got a slot in midfield he was dropped for Friday's game - now sorry, but he's the clearly the best passer of our central midfielders deemed playable by Roy. OK he got game time on Friday he should be starting. As soon as I saw that starting line up I said to a set of mates - that is seriously uninspiring and I nearly didn't bother watching. Newcastle were on an awful run of form. Awful. Why on earth would you cede the midfield to them?

He has looked very moody in the training sessions. I do wonder if attitude is part of the reason he hasn't settled. There were those at Schalke who questioned this. I was really excited when he signed as he had pedigree, but even though most of his 50 odd appearances have been for less than 90 minutes he has rarely imposed himself on a game (if ever). I agree that I think he'll move in January. To me it's the only thing that can explain why we've resorted to so many defenders on the bench. In the right team he'll probably flourish, but sadly not in this one.

Meyer has been given any number of opportunities, but it’s patently obvious he isn’t a Premier player, it’s just too physical for him.

I have no idea but that would imply the Bundesliga is not physical or much less so than PL
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

It is a shame that it did work out for Max (other than his bank balance) or Palace but it has been said he is not good enough for the premiership.

When talking about being overlooked I'm thinking of this season as I thought the OP was referring to that. He's played his way into consideration, and rightly so in my opinion.
