Pochettino is not considered a top tier manager, but the level below. He isn’t regarded a winner, how many years was he at Spurs with nothing to show for it, Arteta took over Arsenal and won the FA cup within months, that’s the difference. Pochettino spent five and a half years at Tottenham during which time the club finished as runners-up in the League Cup and runners-up in the Champions League. He succeeded Tim Sherwood, whose last season saw Tottenham finish 6th in the PL.Tottenham made progress the following 3 seasons under Pochettino finishing 5th, then 3rd then 2nd, followed by a 3rd place finish and then 4th.In his final season, Tottenham were 14th when he was replaced by Mourinho. When Solskjaer was appointed as 'Caretaker' the season before last after 17 games, Man Utd were 6th and there was much speculation that he wouldn't be long at the helm.He was of course appointed manager with Man Utd in 5th place and they finished 6th that season. Last season, they won 6 of their 9 PL games whilst we were in Lockdown, got to the finals of FA Cup and the Europa League and qualified for the Champions League by finishing 3rd. This season whilst Man Utd have only won 2 of their 6 PL games they have beaten both Paris St Germain and RB Leipzig in the Champions League. Solskjaer is seemingly always under pressure in terms of his job tenureship by the multitudes!

There is no chance he will come to Crystal Palace. Close.

Your last sentence implies Parish would not consider him ... that's rather silly I'm afraid!

I say his next job will be at a top tier club. The kind of club you would expect to see regularly in the last 16 of the champions league. Maybe even a last-8 regular.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Looks like he could be off to ManU then, if they lose to Everton.....

He won't be our boss but he's more our level I would argue. I don't think we could get Gerrard btw, Rangers are 3-1 up at Benfica, that's way too good. But we have Mr Stodgson till May so it's too early to speculate.
