If I were to run at you arms streched, like a goalkeeper, and if you kicked it when I was 'only' one metre away, then that's handball.
I disagree. Maupay’s was the most obvious one as he leads with his arm above his head in the direction of the ball. This would’ve given in any season.

Hand to ball rather than ball to hand is the fairest definition of handball and causes the least controversy. That should apply on the entire pitch for equity. The only time this should be overturned is if a team gets a clear advantage from an accidental handball and then an indirect free kick should be awarded.
