Murray could also have got more goals that year had Tekkers not been around) I doubt many would disagree with you on that point and furthermore we are still wasting money on him, he will not go anywhere whilst his contract is in place so we could not at the moment terminate by it by mutual consent

Ivan Kaviedes -in terms of amount of excitement and expectation I had for a player and what he might be able to do to Premiership defences. Whether we actually signed him for £2m or he was a loanee is lost in the mists of time but all I remember him doing is hitting the post with a resounding shot in one game and then disappearing from the bench after less than a handful of games... obvs not fancying a winter in Croydon. Plus we got a fee for him (I seem to remember surprise at getting a decent fee). Are you trying to say Mutch was worse than Marange or Fryers, or Brolin/ Gabiadini back in the day? There was also Rakip - did that even happen? Seems surreal. I think the rationale from the club was - 'someone for the training ground'!
