He's s***. Only has a three yard square in his locker cant shoot, cant run.

Maybe that's all hes allowed with the current system.

It would in my view be a mistake to sell him right now. He needs a run of games which he has never had and will probably only ever get the opportunity to do when Roy goes.

If we are to have better link up play the coming season we cannot go on playing 3 defensive minded midfielders but I suppose if we get the signings that are being discussed then that issue may be resolved.

What I would agree with is that we are not getting value for money out of him currently and on that basis he may well be shipped out. I would however leave that decision until the January window so we see how the squad is.

Unless we bring in 4 or 5 new players, which I can’t see happening, I don’t see how we can let anyone go.

I don't think you can be safe in the Premier League with nine games to play if none of your players can pass. One thing Meyer isn't good at is holding the ball. Most of the time he looks like he can't wait to get rid before he's shaken off it.

His stats in the Bundesliga in the two years before he joined us were 51 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist.

We've bought more of the same.

Most overrated player at the club.

Would prefer Johnny Williams Who would be on 25% of his wages.

I'm clutching at straws a bit here I know but it's not unusual for foreign players to take a season to adjust to the Premier League. Maybe this could be his breakthrough year.

Likewise...but then again I guess it's about what you look for in a footballer. Jairo and Max are probably our most technically proficient footballers; but that's not Roy's bag...so I can't see a future for either tbh...he's quite happy with mediocre workhorses and a thoroughbred (in wilf) that's overworked and under nurished....genius

I might be wrong and this is just my personal opinion, but I think he wouldn't have prospered much more with another manager, because he looks too lightweight to me, gets disposessed too easily, in particular in tackles.
He doesn't have that particular shoot either...
It looks to me like those players that always looks promising but never actually result effective when needed.

Completely agree... Hope my kids dont see my reply .... as they think he is our Saviorur

'Same old, same old' was always the worry. And probably the reality too.
