IMO we need to shift Wilf asap, can only be a problem if he stays. So obvious he wants out and the squad know it so thanks and goodbye from me. The problem will be if it isn’t done early and happens near the deadline, whether down to us, the buyer, Zaha or his agent or the p1ss taking idiots he employs.

I just don't know who comes in for Wilf though. Can't see Everton wanting him anymore. Newcastle takeover hasn't happened and I have no idea if the Saudi's bid will go through. Genuine Top 6 clubs won't be interested in him. Not sure which European club would want him and have the money for transfer and wages. Also if Pulisic is worth £54m, Werner £48m, Sane £40m and Ziyech £36m, how is Wilf going to be valued at what Parish values him at. At the going rate, we'd be lucky to get £40m after the season he's had and the perception of his attitude outside of Palace. I feel sorry for the board having to manage this one to an outcome that works for everyone. Borussia Dortmund. If he has to go would like it to be to them. The price? I have no idea

Current squad with exception of Scott Dann is still under contract and on big wages so can't see many exits (although hoping Sakho may go to France and maybe a loan for Meyer as Roy will never play him and he isn't good enough - IMHO). Forwards will not change much as for some reason SP gave new contracts to Benteke and Wickham.Ayew has done well and deserves to start regardless of 442 or 443 formation My thought/hopes are that we get 3 or 4 younger players in. Now we have Ferguson and Mitchell looking a good prospect think defence is ok as long as one of Tomkins and Cahill remains fit for every game. It is not just a striker we need IMHO, we also need a decent young winger. Don't think Banks will be ready for next season so it will be good to have some competition, especially if Zaha leaves. Money will be tight so using the loan system is a must. Also whilst not young maybe Bolaise back on loan from Everton. He only has 1 year left their and is not being played. Think some people are suited to certain clubs and he is Palace

Roy will still be manager, Zaha wont find a buyer, Kouyate will be first choice centre back, the team that finished will start next season, and 3/4 cheap young players will be added to the squad, no other signings. Early thoughts? We're f***ed.

So what would you price or have priced Zaha at instead of £80 mil to arrive at £50-60 mil? Bear in mind Arsenal didn’t come back. Zaha’s Klingons meddled in the media and arsenal signed someone else for almost double over their 7 transfer windows payment strategy. We then had the Everton media circus that never was as well. My suspicion is there’s a lot of hindsight on this issue that we didn’t sell him when the fact is if we did, for the derisory bid we received and in the form he finished the season in before this poor season, the amount of uproar on here would’ve reached epic proportions by many, including those suddenly upset we didn’t sell him 12 months ago because he now might be worth less, or possibly worse, play even worse for us next season.

Despite his poor form this season, there seems to be a lot of Arsenal fans (and Emery) who still seem pi$$ed that they got Pepe instead of Wilf. If you took out their strikers they have little creativity at the moment, so I still think they'll at least ask the question, even if Parish prices them out of it. They might even be happy that Wilf has driven down his price with abject performances. If we'd sold Wilf for less than AWB fans would definitely have been royally pi$$ed last summer. Some fans were even saying nothing less than 100m!

If Wilf had been sold for say £60m last year and we had to give 25% of the profit to Utd, the board would have been lynched on here. Now they're being blamed for having too high a valuation for him. I think the biggest issue is the board believed that his worth to us was £80m and if he wasn't sold, he would still give his all despite the disappointment of not moving. They unfortunately, read him wrong and he didn't play as well as we all know he can do, probably in part due to that as well as the tactics not being suited to him. Dortmund are great at spotting young talent like Sancho and Bellingham, I just can't see them plumping for Wilf.

don't forget we just got £45m plus add on for AWB last year so clearly Wilf had to be priced higher. The fact that Everton and Arse still bid for him suggests the £80m price tag didn't put them off as it was never a firm figure. His current wages of c£130k a week does mean the pool of clubs who could afford him is very limited, regardless of the transfer fee. If he doesn't understand that then why sign the contract. You can't have it both ways. I can see him being with us next year IMHO
