That’s a bit unfair, schlupp is the only one who plays in our midfield with any pace of which he has bags, some power and he can lace a shot, hardly revolutionary but glad to have him back.

Back to topic anyways - 2-0 win for Wolves

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Exactly, 4 league goals last season and 2 this and probably hasn't played half the games! He knows where the opposition's goal is! Not sure our 4 defensive midfielders do (apart from when Luka is having a crack from a free kick).

I predict:

- 3 touches in their box
- 1 shot on target
- Substitution after 75 minutes - Schlupp on for Macca.
- Keep it tight first half 0-0
- Lose 3-0
- Post match press conf - The boys did very well given the circumstances, unlucky with the first goal, caught out for the second trying to get back on terms, final goal not mentioned because it happened in stoppage time.
Will definitely be giving the youth a chance before the season finishes. Wilf is an excellent player. Many transfers expected in the close season.
- Rinse and repeat for the Spurs game.

Also from the press conference
- we were the team asking the questions when they scored their second goal
- we brought our straw to the water ( never sure what that means)

I've just taken my mood control meds so with that burst of hallucinatory optimism kicking in I'm going to go with a 2-2 draw. No reason for that, just feeling it.

Roy indicated that Schlupp is unlikely to start so it'll be between Riedewald and Mitchell for the LB slot. I hope Roy sticks with the 442 formation utilised against Man Utd as Ward and Mitchell/Jairo will need support and Ayew and Wilf have the legs to drop back and help out.

I think it'll be:

VG

Ward Dann Sakho Mitchell

Townsend McCarthy Kouyate McArthur

Ayew Wilf

I think we can get something out of this providing we have some energy left, so I'm going for an out-of-the-blue 2-1 to us with Townsend and Wilf the scorers.
